Frank’s space was perfect for a lovely little getaway! It is not large, but there is everything you need for a cozy day. The neighborhood was wonderful, with plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. And the hot tub was a wonderful bonus!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 days, it was amazing. We loved the back patio, there was an area to enjoy your morning coffee or a wine to relax at night next to the fire pit. Bonus, theres a hot tub that was so relaxing. Eveything things so close, you can be at a beach in a blink, or a very short walk to delicious places to eat or have a drink. The owner was very accommodating, very friendly, super nice gentleman. He will stay out of your way or talk to him, he has great stories.

Alright, listen—if you’re coming to San Diego and don’t stay here, that’s on you. This place is an absolute find. South Park has that perfect mix of neighborhood charm and cool-factor—great bars, killer food, and Balboa Park basically in your backyard.The owner? Top-tier. Friendly, easygoing, and genuinely cool—none of that fake-nice host energy.As a marketing person, I’m tempted to brand this spot “Heaven on Fir” because honestly, it’s that good. I’ve stayed in plenty of rentals, but this one? Five stars, no notes. Book it before someone else with taste does.
