Family vacation

We were in Richmond taking in the historic sites. The house was perfect with plenty of room, very clean and more than enough space for our family of four. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed.

Felt like home

Comfortable and well decorated, our stay was enjoyable and relaxing. House has been updated beautifully and was really convenient to concert venue Allianz riverfront. We had two couples and one more would have not been any problem with space. James was excellent with communication and recommendations. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing host!

We had an unfortunate situation occur which did not allow us to stay on property. But, our communication with James was great leading up to the weekend. We can’t wait to get back that way and will stay here for sure tho!!

Convenient Location

Our group of 4 family members came from different parts of the U.S. & met at the airport. It was very convenient to have a short and easy drive to the VRBO and to find well-lit parking on site. There was a bit of a repair hiccup for the first 2 nights, but the VRBO mgt addressed & fixed it very quickly. The location, in general, worked out great for all of our sightseeing, and the size of the house was perfect and comfortable for our needs.

Worked for a Weekend

This was a beautiful, historic home; immaculately clean with hotel-like features such as a guest book and welcome basket :). The downside was that much like a hotel, there were no extra linens or blankets. The house is near the corner of a main street in a “transitional” neighborhood, and although we felt safe enough to enjoy the front porch, some of the neighboring lots lacked maintenance.

Lovely, spacious home

This well-appointed home has been remodeled well. The bedrooms are large, the family areas have ample seating, and the kitchen has nice appliances. We were disappointed that the grass hadn't been cut in some time, allowing the insect population to thrive a bit, especially in the fenced-in backyard. Morning travel through the yard to put trash in bins resulted in very wet shoes/legs. Parking is street parking (and can be tight at times) unless you'd like to park around the back (not the safest feeling back there, though). Once you're at the house, it seems like a nice neighborhood. However, you're not too far off from some spots that don't seem too savory. There were also some nefarious things happening on the street itself, but no one could help that. The host is great - communication was quick and very informative. We would definitely stay here again if I could be there with my spouse and kids.

Nice Stay in Richmond

I came in town for the wedding of my husband's co-worker. We had a relaxed, comfortable stay in this beautiful home. The only thing to consider when renting this home is parking. You must have experience parallel parking, and during the day, many people park on the street to access the main road next to the house. Other than the slight parking issue ( I say slight because once most of the businesses close, parking is not an issue) we had a great stay. Thank you for the great customer service, and i recommend anyone stay here. You wont regret it.

Property manager kept in continuous contact to insure are still was going as plan. House exceeded our expectation and the location put us within 10 min of most area in downtown Richmond. I would recommend staying at this location to anyone.

Weekend in Richmond

We came in for our Goddaughter's birthday and absolutely fell in love with the house. Our 5 year old had an absolute blast and it served as our sanctuary for the weekend. James was interactive from the beginning and made sure we knew he was available throughout our stay. Thanks again.

Quiet neighborhood

Quiet neighborhood within easy commute to interstate. We used this as our home base for the week as we were venturing out daily to the historic areas near Richmond. Our day trips took us one to one & a half hours away each day and it was nice to return to a quiet place at night. There were some minor maintenance issues with the home, but the property manager was very receptive to all issues reported. Minor inconveniences, nothing we couldn't get around while there. I would highly recommend management place some extra throw blankets in the living room for getting cozy at night while watching tv, and place extra blankets in the bedroom closets. It was very cold while we were there and it would have been nice to have those extra comforts, but again, not a deal breaker! We Florida girls weren't used to the colder weather! Beautiful weather each day for our site seeing adventures though.

Race trip

We absolutely adored the walkability of the neighborhood and it's wonderful close proximity to food and shopping. Our family loved this property especially the porch and deck. There was more than enough space for our family. The neighbors were very friendly. We had a great time.
