I had originally given three stars, but as I continue to write my review of why I only gave it three stars, I downgraded it to two. The pictures of this place are deceiving. It is very dilapidated and rundown, which you can see as soon as you step off the elevators on your floor. Maybe there are some nicer rooms that have been renovated, but that was not the one we had. As soon as you get off the elevator, you can see the nasty carpet, the beaten walls, every single door on the outside is I don’t even know how to describe it! I had to think at the time that it was just old and needed to be remodeled instead of how it actually felt, which was disgusting. They do get two stars instead of one because as far as I know we didn’t leave with any bugs or anything. Based on the way the place looked, I was not eating the breakfast there whatsoever. We have friends that visit the area often, and I wish I would have asked them where to stay. They said they used to stay here all the time, but have had horrific experiences far worse than we did. Point being the place has been like this for quite some time.

The hotel staff was really nice and professional, so I have no complaints regarding them. The rooms are a different story. I booked with this hotel due to the accommodations listed on Hotels.com which are adjoining/connecting rooms. I arrived to check in, only to be told they did not have adjoining rooms (false advertisement). I took a screenshot showing this particular hotel does provide adjoining/connecting rooms. Next, we (my guest and I) arrive to our rooms only to find a large URINE stain on the edge of one of the beds and a dirty pillow and pillowcase on that same bed. Someone literally slept on that pillow and housekeeping just tossed it to the back of the bed and fluffed it. Also, there was a hair in the bathtub. I spoke with the receptionist on duty that night and showed her the pictures. She quickly accommodated us with a new room. All was well. I didn't inspect my room until later and notice that the toilet was dirty. The disgusting skin cells from someone sitting on the toilet were still there. Meaning the toilet was not cleaned. (I have pictures) Lastly, the blackout curtain has multiple holes in it. It almost looks like someone took it outside and played target practice with it. I've never seen so many holes in a curtain unless it was in the trash. I'm glad I brought Lysol disinfectant aerosol spray with me and wipes since we had to clean our rooms. Overall, never again will I stay at this hotel nor would I recommend it to anyone. Absolutely NASTY!

The hotel is very outdated , my room and hallway smelled like marijuana. It was disgusting . Pretty disappointed for a Holiday Inn Express . The breakfast was good and staff courteous .

The hotel appeared dated and many aspects seemed neglected. Furniture was stained, rusted, and shoddy. Breakfast was unappetizing. Elevators did not work effectively. Room doors were scuffed. Shower heads appeared to have mold on them.
