In town for Jeff Cup. About 12 mins from Striker Park. Not on the main 205 drag, but easy to get to off 64. Plenty of parking. The kind of hotel that has side doors everywhere, so you aren't lugging all of your stuff through the lobby. A small bistro on site with a bar that serves alcohol. Outdoor pool and fire pit sitting area (wasn't open yet while we were there). Rooms were big, 1st floor had sliding glass doors for right to parking lot exit. Nice gym. Treadmills had built in TVs, but I didn't take the time to figure them out. And it was a good thing, because the wall TV was behind the treadmills. Free wifi, no PWs or having to sign up for anything. Big Plus Plus! A special shout out to James and Kimberly for making our stay extra special.
I was in Richmond for a 2 night stay for a state basketball tournament. I was very pleased with my stay here. Loved the location because it wasn't in the busiest part of the city. There was a nice variety of restaurants near to choose from. The room itself was very clean. The bed was comfortable, which is a big plus for me. The bathroom was a nice size which is something I look for also. It was all well maintained and clean. Staff was nice and helpful. Enjoyed the Bistro, though the price for a margarita was around $9. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.
Broke down on the highway and had to wait for BMW dealership to fix car. They recommended this nearby hotel. Detron at front desk welcomed me with a smile and got me in a room quickly. Snack bar had decent food to purchase and I was set for the night. Room was clean. Nice overnight stay.
This location was convenient to a old neighbor visit. Room was standard Marriott, but slightly on the small side. Carpets, towels and bedding clean and fresh. We stayed on the third floor, in the back and had a hard time getting back to the front area. Signage was pretty lacking on the third floor. You must come downstairs to proceed to the front. We really enjoyed the Bistro breakfast the next day. The Fairfield chain has a free breakfast, but the drab cereal and the powdered eggs can get to one after awhile. This breakfast was cooked fresh, with fresh ingredients. It tasted great. It cost money, but it was money well spent.
The staff here are quite phenomenal and operate with top customer service. I have been traveling to Richmond for work for about 2 months now and I am overly satisfied with the staff. Claudia, Virginie, and Adam, who work the restaurant for breakfast, are very courteous and make my mornings much more enjoyable. The rooms are also very clean and are kept in good shape.
Spent 4 nights at the Courtyard Richmond West. The room was awesome, comfortable and very clean. I stayed on the first level with a walk out to the court area. Also the lobby and restaurant stay was fantastic. Claudia Trujillo was very friendly and helpful. She provided me personal attention. I am in town again soon and will stay here for sure. Best Courtyard I have ever stayed!
I stayed one night at this property since I was in town for a sports tournament. The front desk staff was super friendly and changed my room from a King bed to two Queens with no hassle. I was given a "gift bag" which included a bottle of water and Chex Mix along with a coupon for something that was not sure of. An explanation would have been great. The layout of this hotel is convoluted as other reviewers have mentioned. The elevators are tucked away in the back of the hotel. It wasn't a big deal to us since we moved our car to the back and utilized the door from the parking lot right next to the elevator. The location of the property is on a busy road with many big box stores and restaurants. I would imagine if you were in the front of the hotel that you would hear some traffic noise. The room was spotless. The only things missing were a USB port and shampoo. I had stayed in a Courtyard the weekend prior and my room had several of each. Since I forgot my charging block, the USB was an issue for me. The walls unfortunately are paper thin. The literally could have a full blown conversation with the guests next to me with no issue. Thankfully, they went to bed before midnight so it didn't keep me up. I would imagine if you had noisy neighbors that it would be problematic. The hotel was in good condition, I noticed a security guard and the staff was pleasant. For my one night stay that was all I needed. Just wish I had an USB port.
Excellent, top notch, exceptional customer service. All staff were extremely attentive, and went above and beyond to enhance my stay. The front desk staff, Adam, Claudia & Kitty all served to make my visit pleasurable and memorable. I will return and recommend to others!
The restaurant attention by Claudia, Kitty was absolutely excellent demonstrating a great sense of customer service values. I felt like home no only the fresh food and coffee but the fast and friendly attitude!
Just came through for business this time, but claudia in the cafe and the front desk staff were awesome. I had two packages sent here and there was no issue. My mornings were also perfect with breakfast served up.
