I stayed at the Courtyard on July 17th. The people were all nice. The TV only partially worked. I had someone from the front desk come and could not fix it. They said that someone from maintenance would come up and they never did. The toilet had not been cleaned thoroughly and would have been obvious only if the seat had been lifted up. I have not checked out yet and am not sure what they will do when I describe my experience but I do not think even if they did not charge me for the room that I would change my rating. I just do not expect this from a Courtyard. I will stay at another property next time in Richmond.

The carpet was dated, but we got a great deal blind-bidding on this room for the end of July 4 week. I think this is because it is near a lot of businesses and no one is on business trips this week. We were visiting nearby family. O'Charley's across the street has good food for a very reasonable price. We had not expected it to be as good as it was.

Flew in for family funeral and short 2 night stay. The hotel was an easy 5 minutes from the Airport and easy 15 minutes to town and great restaurants. Hotel staff extremely friendly. Airport shuttle on demand with a few minutes notice. Food offerings limited but very good breakfasts. Would recommend. A cut above usual airport area hotel

This hotel was perfect for our trip to Richmond. There is a bar/cafe that allowed us to gather with other family members. I also liked the small patio outside our room. It was conveniently located close to the Botanical Gardens where the family wedding was held.

The property was not built to serve large groups of people moving in and out with their luggage, especially older people. There was a chronic shortage of baggage carts. Had to wait awhile for one on arrival. No luggage rack in room. Apparently, there is only one elevator and it deposits some people a good hike from their room. Too far for someone with mobility issues. We encountered one elderly couple, one of whom was confined to a wheel chair, struggling with the back-entrance door and elevator. No staff available to help. So we jumped in to assist. There is no complementary breakfast which seems odd for this level of property. What is available is pricey.

I needed a place to stay while visiting the Universidad de Richmond. This was the closest hotel I could find that had open rooms. I spent 5 nights here all together. The Check in process was easy. I got a room on the second floor overlooking a small pool. It was more than hot out and many guests were enjoying the water. There was a restaurant on site and I ate their twice. The rooms was quiet and dark which made it easy to sleep. It was also clean. The breakfast bar was a busy place in the mornings but the people working it were helpful and got me food right away. I would recommend for others to stay here.

Clean and comfortable rooms and great staff. Room service always on point and helpful. Claudia at breakfast made mornings awesome. Made me feel at home when conversing with her in Spanish. Highly recommended.

Everyone was friendly and accommodating! Kitty and Claudia at the bistro were such a delight every morning and took care of everything I needed! The front desk attendants were attentive and always eager to help. Would recommend to friends and family.

Here on business working for Anthem. I'm a Marriott guy and it was typical Courtyard, so you know what to expect...which isn't a bad thing. Courteous front desk, free parking, free internet, updated lobby with restaurant, good room and comfortable bed...what is expected when I stay at a Courtyard!

This Courtyard made our grand opening business trip a pleasure! All the staff was not only exceptionally friendly but extremely helpful also! Jerry lent me his own phone cord when mine died until I could get another! He also moved us to another room when the air conditioning system in the first started making noises. Claudia and Kitty at the cafe catered to my special eating needs and gave us needed warm welcoming smiles and extremely fast service first thing in the morning before we headed to our jobs. Clean and inviting...highly recommended!
