The grounds of this property were beautiful. The staff were attentive and very friendly. What we were highly disappointed in was not one restaurant took reservations and several restaurants had up to 38 tables ahead of us resulting in at least a 2 1/2 wait. Even though we stayed on the upgraded Impressions side every restaurant had many items on the menu that had an outrageous upcharge. It was not ALL inclusive. An example of this was at one of the restaurants there was a $190 usd charge for a steak. At the steakhouse Ember every steak except for one had an additional charge. The sushi restaurant advertised an Omakase experience. This was $150 per person. We've been to several Cancun/ Riviera Maya area 5 star all inclusive adults only resorts at least 9 times and never experienced anything like this. For this reason we wouldn't return to this resort.

We stayed at the impression tower and upon our arrival we were not greeted with champagne nor water. The food was mediocre at best on the impression level. On the upside our butlers Mariela and Rafael H were incredible helpful.

As a couple in our 40s who have been avid travelers for many years, we can confidently say this resort exceeded our expectations in many ways. The cleanliness of the rooms, the excellent service, and the overall relaxing atmosphere stood out right from the start. The thoughtful room design, quality furnishings, and attentive butler service were especially impressive — truly a 10/10 experience.Dining was another highlight, with consistently good food options and top-notch spirits and cocktails. We would also rate the variety and availability of dining choices a 10/10.If we had one suggestion for improvement, it would be the dinner reservation system. At present, it feels like guests need to strategize daily, and even then reservations can be hard to secure unless you’re waiting right at the door between 6–7 PM. A more streamlined system would greatly enhance the guest experience.Additionally, while we loved the resort itself, the beach and water conditions were disappointing due to seaweed, which at times created an unpleasant smell.That said, these were minor drawbacks compared to the overall experience. This truly stands out as the best couples-oriented resort we’ve stayed at. Having visited multiple Secrets and Dreams properties as well as other brands within and beyond AM Resorts/Hyatt, this resort has left the strongest impression on us — and we look forward to returning.

Everything was amazing, I don’t have anything negative to say. No need to book excursions because I was there for a week and I didn’t get to do everything! Highly recommend!

Went for our honeymoon and was the best choice we could’ve ever made! Staff was over the top to make sure we had the best experience, and they did special little things for us to celebrate! If you need your sign to book here this is it!
