Amazing hotel! Excellent service and staff all round. The food options are a bit limited if you’re staying for longer. Mature, chilled vibes which is exactly what we were looking for. It’s also not busy/crowded and we could always walk into any restaurant anytime and not have to wait.

This was a beautiful property from the moment you arrive at the front entrance to the lobby and room! The staff was friendly throughout the whole visit. Personally my only downside was the food was not the best in taste or quality even from the steakhouse to the buffet but for the price and the experience of the hotel property , it was manageable.

This resort was very impressive to stay at we stay for a total of five days and we had actually gotten a pretty good deal since they had just switched management and rebranded the resort. They have several restaurants, including a steakhouse ceviche restaurant pool service where you can order burgers, wings, Chinese restaurant and an Italian restaurant and they even have a small café. Everything we had was delicious there. I was pleasantly surprised by the food. during our stay, they actually included black label under the all-inclusive package, which was really nice. Since that is a premium drink. They had a taco stand by the pool. All the servers were very nice very welcoming and very courteous. My mom even got a little sick on the trip and they stated that they could send a doctor to the room for $300 which I think is good considering that they have that service so it tells you they care about the people staying at the resort. The room was very spotless. I am a huge fan of espresso and they had Nespresso pods in the room room service filled the fridge with beer and soda and chips and Oreos, which are my favorite so I was happy about that and room service comes pretty quickly. I noticed on a few days that housekeeping came twice and then one day. I think we missed them so if you just called to the lobby, they’ll just send them to your room, but overall everything was very clean. Food was delicious. Amazing service.

Absolutely amazing stay! The food is incredibly delicious, and the drinks are top-quality — the bartenders prepare a wide variety of cocktails. Rooms are in excellent condition, and the whole property is beautifully maintained. The beach is clean and stunning, with a great location. The staff clearly enjoy what they do — everyone is welcoming, professional, and it adds a special touch to the whole experience. Highly recommend!

Just got back from a stay at Devossion by Live Aqua Playa del Carmen, and the entire experience felt easy, relaxed, and genuinely well thought out. The resort itself is beautiful, but what really stands out uis how smoothly everything runs and how attentive and thoughtful everyone was throughout the stay. Location, Design, and Overall Feel: The location honestly could not be better. The hotel is literally steps from 5Th Avenue. Walk out from the resort and immediately you are in the middle of the action… restaurants, music, lively crowds, and constant energy. Walking up and down Fifth Avenue always felt safe and enjoyable, day or night, just soaking in the vibe. When it was time to relax or head to the beach, walking straight back into the hotel brought instant calm. The hotel has managed to keep the city action out, while being in the middle of it. It’s hard to imagine a better location than this. The hotel’s open design is actually quite brilliant. The way the property is laid out, and architected allows the ocean breeze to flow freely through the entire resort. This makes a massive difference in the heat. No matter where you are, There’s never that feeling of standing in warm, stagnant air. The breeze keeps everything feeling fresh and comfortable throughout the day. It’s one of those design choices that you don’t appreciate until you experience it for yourself.

The resort itself and the staff were nice. The breakfast buffet food could use improvement but breakfast room service food is very good. Four of us went from age 20’s, 30’s, 40’s, and beyond and all of us found the resort to be extremely uneventful and boring. Cocktails were hit or miss at the bars but overall good enough. Adding lively music at the pool and or beach would be great. Two hours of a live singer of soft music is romantic but not exciting. There’s nothing exciting to see or do here. We were forced to seek out adventure away from the resort each day. We spent so much money going to other islands trying to find something fun and nicer to do. Overall I am disappointed with this trip. Maybe it’s just not our vibe. I couldn’t go to the sports bar because the temp was very cold and the music was deafeningly loud. I wish I could say I enjoyed something. The spa cenote is a must see.

My stay was absolutely incredible from the moment we arrived. Aylin welcomed us with warmth and genuine care, making us feel right at home. Alejandro at the front desk was also welcoming and helpful. Our check-in experience was seamless, and we were pleasantly surprised by a lovely welcome package in our room. An hour later, we received another delightful dessert, which added to the thoughtful touches provided throughout our stay. Aylin continued to check on us daily, even going the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed, which made a significant difference. We celebrated birthdays while there, and Aylin helped to make each celebration truly unforgettable by coordinating with the restaurants to secure special spots for us. When we encountered a minor issue in our room, it was addressed immediately. The entire place was clean, welcoming, and comfortable, contributing to a relaxing environment. The food was exceptional, with plenty of great options All the staff members were incredibly friendly and attentive. In the evenings at La Cocina, Sam provided exceptional service, while Laura greeted us each morning with a smile. The hotel in general and the staff in particular were excellent. However, there was some construction on the property that was not announced when we did the original booking. This did cause some unpleasantness during our stay. Furthermore, don't come for the beach. It is short, extremely busy with questionable water quality.
