Nothing to do nearby. Hard to get out of. Called to confirm early arrival for an hour. Said our room wasn’t ready for another thirty minutes, then asked our name. Pictures online showed an arm chair in the room. No chair. Asked for chair and was told the pictures were stock, not of their hotel. I showed them pictures of the lobby were of the location. I was given a hard banquet chair. Pictures had carpet, no carpet. No carpet really sucks when children above you are running or pulling luggage around in the middle of the night. Sounded like elephants. View out the window was a school bus grave yard. Horrible stay, no sleep, room was nothing like what I booked. Tv was huge and only 18” from the foot of the beds. Couldn’t even watch it. Bed was nice. Which is nice since there was no other seating. Will never stay here again.

The room AC was good. I wish it had a "constant fan" option to keep the unit running so it can drown out the truck stop and interstate noise.

The property looked clean, the room looked clean. The temperature settings were accurate. The room had everything you needed. The problem was the smell. The hotel didnt smell, but our particular room smelled like rancid trash. The kind of smell that only comes from a dumpster or a trash truck. I don't imagine every room smelled like this and it was probably an isolated problem. The staff was very friendly and seemed helpful. To be fair we didn't ask to move rooms, we checked in around midnight and only planned to sleep and leave at 6am, but we should have. We figured the smell would dissipate, but it didn't and a couple of hours into the night the smell was actually waking us up. For this reason I can't reccomend the hotel or say I would stay again. I did mention it at checkout and was offered hotel points if I were a member, so that was nice. The hotel backs right up to a junk yard or a salvage yard. The smell could have been coming from there, that's the side our room was on. The staff was the friendliest I have encountered outside of a resort and the property was/looked cleaner than most hotels of this level.
