Things to be aware of
First let me say I've stayed at a lot of vacation rentals over the years, and this one did not meet my expectations. When we arrived, there was no one there to greet us or show us anything. We had the address to the building, but we did not have the room number or any information on how to get to the actual room. We waited outside of the building in the sun with all of our luggage for almost 30 minutes waiting on the host to get back with us. There is no elevator, and the room is up a tiny winding staircase 3 flights up, so if you have a lot of luggage as we did, keep this in mind. When we came back to the room to get ready for dinner we tried for 30 minutes to get the door unlocked. We called the host, and they wanted us to send them a video of us trying to get in to help us. Apparently, the host is 40 minutes from this location, so don't expect any help in a hurry. Also, there is only enough hot water to take about a 4-minute shower. My wife has long thick hair and almost froze to death trying to wash her hair the first day. The second day we timed it and there was only 4 minutes of hot water. Lastly, our room was a construction zone the first day we were there. There was a guy literally jackhammering right outside of the window to our room. I have a video of the guy jackhammering but can't upload the video.
