A wonderful and affordable place to stay - très charmant et propre!

This was a wonderful place to stay. The bed was comfy and the kitchen well equipped -- I've stayed places that have less, but you have all you need here. The host was flexible about when I could depart (within reason, a cleaner needed to prepare before the next arrival). I had terrible jet lag so it's unfortunate that renovations in another building in the square were going on, but never at inappropriate hours and you will spend all your time out and about in Paris during the day! The host is kind, and VERY responsive and attentive, definitely a place you should want to stay! Like any older building in a dense city, from time to time you can hear the neighbors, but everyone is kind and reasonable about hours, you will love it here! C'est un apartment parfait pour un séjour à Paris. Les voisins sont sympa et l'hôte est tellement attentif et répond vite! Plus le prix est un peu plus bas que d'autres apartements que j'ai contemplés. Le propriétaire devrait peut-être louer pour un prix plus haut. C'est tres propre, lit comfortable, wifi très vite et fiable. Bons restos que des minutes à pieds. Et pendant certains weekends on ferme la rue pour un grand marché aux puces! Definitely book this place if you can! I was very happy!

all good except the place

The building looks like it should be torn down with the wall jacks in the hallway, sagging floors, and the paper towel shoved in areas to support drywall - really not worth what we paid, but Paris is expensive .

Im Einvernehmen Vertrag in letzter Minute aufgelöst

Wir haben ein Hotel gebucht. Die vereinbarte Wohnung war wegen Renovationsarbeiten nicht verfügbar. Erfahren habe ich das, weil ich die versprochene Verlängerung um einen Tag in der Buchung auch nach zwei Monaten seines Versprechens über die App nicht gefunden habe. Der Vermieter bot auf telefonische Anfrage ein Objekt als Ersatz an, das der Lage nicht entsprochen hat. Die Korrespondenz wurde bei genauerem Nachfragen kompliziert und hat Nerven gekostet. Jede Anfrage, betreffend Verlängerung um einen Tag, bzw. Rücktritt vom Vertrag wurde mit „pas de problèm“ kommentiert. Das 2. genaue Nachfragen kostete Nerven und ein teureres Hotel. Ich kann den Vermieter nicht weiterempfehlen.

Appartement calme mais pas très coquet

Nous avons été déçus de l arrivée avec un escalier trop difficile avec une valise ; à l intérieur propre mais pas coquet avec des étais qui tiennent, on suppose le plafond, pas très rassurant ; nous n étions à l appartement que pour dormir heureusement ; point positif appartement calme.

This building should be condemned!!! Don’t book it!!!

The building this apartment is housed in reminded me of a slum from 1900’s! The building is held up by braces to stop it from collapsing, the stairwell to get to the second floor has steps that a small child would have difficulty finding room to put their feet on, as we carried bags upstairs my sister fell down them due to lack of space to put her feet. The hallway is dark and narrow and is difficult to pull luggage into it, the hallway floor slopes, see building being held together to stop it from shifting. The instructions to find the door were not clear because the door doesn’t have a number or a handle on it, the apartment itself was clean but smelled musty , damp and old. The host tried to allay my worries when we checked in my saying there’s some construction going on but pay no mind to it, then lied and said he has cancelled further bookings after Sep 2nd. I wouldn’t pay $1 per night for this hole let alone $100!! The photos are misleading and the host is trying to take advantage of tourists. Shame on VRBO for even listing this lawsuit waiting to happen. Do yourself a favor and book a hotel instead!!
