Thanks to the staff for making our stay very enjoyable. Everyone was very friendly especially Steing. He always welcomed us with a smile, showed us where everything was located and made sure we had maps to point us to activities. He greeted us every morning and was ready to assist in any way. He's like a close friend you are excited to catch up with. Facilitates are good by french standards.
Hotel is in the Canal Saint Martin area, super close to subway, Carrefour, restaurants, etc. Breakfast was good too. Wifi was decent. The problems I had were: the room is super small, even for just 2 people. The shower head was loose, so you had to hold the shower head to take a shower. The AC seemed to be in the
Stayed here for a long weekend to see the sites of Paris. The Hotel is well located and within easy walking distance of Jaures Metro station. The room, although a little tight, was clean and had all we needed. Larger towels would have been nice! Staff were friendly and professional and I would recommend the breakfast for 10 euros. All in all we had a good time and would recommend.
Iam staying at their for 4 nights. At first it was going to be one but the room is good (with air-con recommended, as it gets super hot) and the staff are super friendly and helpful.just helpful with honest and solid information. Big rooms, comfy bed, large bathroom
Great hotel with clean rooms, a great location and most importantly, air-conditioning which is not very common in Paris! The hotel is a stone-throw away from the Bassin de la Villette and is surrounded by numerous restaurants. The metro Jaures is just at the bottom of the street, and since I am a fan of parmacie skincare, there is a huge pharmacie a few doors away which carries almost all the brands you are looking for, and there's a bakery 2 doors away to get breakfast! The bed and bedding is modern and so so comfortable!
It was our first trip to Paris and we made a very good decision when choosing this hotel. The personnel was friendly and they have a luggage room so you can keep your luggage there after you check out or even before you check in if your flight is early in the morning. The room was small but it was warm, newly renovated and you have everything you need, including a kettle so you can make yourself a coffee or a tea. The neighbourhood was nice, very close to the metro station and it was quite easy to get everywhere in Paris from there. Probably will stay there again when we come back to Paris.
I've been in this hotel for 3 times, and i was glad , but this time I was really disappointed .. We took a room with a fridge, that only after two days we noticed that it wasn't connected to electricity- we had to throw all the food that was in it and i had a food intoxication that immobilized me for 3 days in that room! When we alerted the staff , that alerted the hotel manager- we've been told , that this minibar fridge , that cools to 4 degrees C, is suitable only for drinks...!! and that they were not responsible to what happened - we should have noticed it before! Never heard such a lack of responsibility! No compensation has been proposed to us. Every body makes mistakes, but one should take some responsibility when it happens. I do not recommend this hotel.
Three of us stayed here in two rooms for two nights to celebrate a 21st Birthday. Reception was helpful at all times, the rooms were very clean and comfortable with all the facilities expected at this price point. We had breakfast both mornings which was ok, nothing special but as much as you needed and good coffee! The area is quite lively and can be noisy at times but this is a city after all. There are several decent bars nearby and transport links to central Paris are quick, easy and cheap. Would definitely stay here again as having stayed much more central previously was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable (for Paris!) bill!
Avoid this budget hotel at all costs. The hotel lobby smelled constantly of raw sewage so first impressions were poor. The room was adequate albeit small, but we had expected that from reading other reviews. The cleaner knocked on our door at 8am in the morning to service the room. Not wanting to leave the room so early, we waited until she started servicing the adjacent room then put the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door handle so she could come and service the room later. We left the room around 12pm to go for a short walk after changing the door handle sign to please service our room. Returning to the hotel at 13:30 the room had not been serviced so we left again at 14:00 informing the reception staff the room can now be serviced. The receptionist noted our room number before we left. When we returned at 21:00 the room had not been touched. I asked the same receptionist who we gave the room number to why this was the case and she rudely told me that all the cleaners had gone home now and we should not have put the do not disturb sign if we wanted the room serviced. We were not offered another room and the issue was not rectified. I asked if she expected us to sleep in dirty sheets and use dirty towels to shower with and we were simply told to get on with it as there was nothing she could do. Eventually after much discussion we were offered some bed sheets to make the bed ourselves! Utterly disgraceful service from this 1 star hotel pretending to be 3 stars. Save yourself a lot of hassle and pay 10-20 euros more a night for a decent 4 star hotel.
Everything was great! The staff was very kind and helpful, the room was very comfortable. The location of the hotel was also good because it s near a bus and metro statiom. The only negative was that the hotel was near a busy road and it was so quite.
