A perfect hotel to stay at during your vacation trip to Paris. I already stayed there a few years ago, and was waiting for a new chance to do that, especially after a hard and very uncomfortable stay at another place during the same trip. And I found what I had been waiting to find - a clean and comfortable room, friendly staff) I would certainly recommend the hotel to my friends.

The room was really small, but we didn't mind, because it was clean and well thought out. The bathroom was very modern and our window open to a nice courtyard/balcony area. A few small issues: the door is locked at night, which can be a little awkward, the stairs are in a weird location behind the front desk. But for the price and the proximity to the metro and the Canal St-Martin, I have no real complaints.

They afraid to give cutleries and cups to the room because not enough for the breakfast operation ,miss communication between finance and reception ,as they wanted to charge twice .,staff is nice bad management

After a cancelled train in Paris, we were stranded in the city: shucks! After a brief search about this hotel, within arms length of the metro came up with very reasonable prices. The staff were abundant and most helpful. Rooms obviously new and well appointed. The area is right next to a thriving hub of La Rotunde and the canal, boasting loads of great bars. If you end up stuck or even need s destination, here's your bed for the night.

Nearest Metro -Jaures. 3 diff lines and about 4 stops to Gard du Nord and El est. 1,90 Euro pp for every trip. Convenient. Only minus is bathroom floor get Wet after every shower. Macs and Carrefour supermkt nearby.

Very Central and good link to most places. hotel nice and clean, also nice to the carnal, where they always have evening entertainment and you can take a walk along the canal or simply sit by the open air restaurants and enjoy the atmosphere.

I used to live in Paris and always recommended this hotel. Now, whenever I'm in town, that´s where I stay. Great location, close to metro lines, supermarkets, great cafés, cinema, the canal. The room is a bit small, but there is enough room for a couple. Always very clean facilities, bed very comfortable, English-speaking staff, always very helpful and friendly. Too bad we could only stay one night this time. Unfortunately there was a storm in Paris, which flooded many facilities in the city and that compromised the breakfast area, but the hotel staff offered breakfast in one of their partner hotels. Since we were already worried about the flood damage affecting car and train traffic, we decided to skip it and go straight to the airport. It is always a pleasant stay at Libertel Canal Saint Martin. We will keep coming back.

Surprising good quality vs. price. Clean rooms. Working and efficient air conditioning. Very nice breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location. Close to Gare du Nord and just near to 2 metro stations. Major Paris attractions in 15-45 minutes by public transport.

My two-night stay at Libertel Canal St.-Martin was lovely. The hotel is located in a great location in the 19th Arr. a couple blocks from Buttes-Chaumont Park with a tasty, cheap bakery and fruit market down the street. The room was small and basic, but very clean and well-organized. Front Desk staff were friendly. I would stay here again or recommend to friends.

Stayed here for 3 nights on a short break to Paris with family in May. As we arrived on a Wednesday the Navigo Decouverte card brought at the Charles De Gaulle station for €27 gave us return trip to and from the airport to the city ( usually €22 return) and unlimited use of the metro, buses ( and funicular at the Sacre Coeur) for our stay. It was our first trip to the city and were a little concerned that we had booked a hotel slightly out of the main city centre - we need not have been! The hotel was easy to get to as it's a two minute walk of Jaures station (just two stops from Gard du Nord /La Chapelle station on line 2 ). The hotel appears small from the from but this is fairly normal in Paris. Owing to the age of the buildings many hotels are bijou and this was no different so don't expect huge rooms when staying in Paris. Check in was fast and efficient and the staff were very helpful and spoke good English, which was appreciated as my French is limited. Rooms were very clean, not large but perfectly adequate as a base for our stay. Breakfast was available if required. We had a room facing the street, which was slightly noisy with the windows open but others had quieter rooms facing the inner courtyard area. Bathroom was clean, the shower good and hot and lovely smelling toiletries provided. A hairdryer was also provided. Wi-fi was free but you have to register every 24 hours for the service. There are a few small shops around and some nice bakeries and bar cafe restaurants around the corner. Getting out and about was easy from this location and the hotel was very reasonably priced. We really couldn't fault the hotel, it was just what we needed, clean, friendly and comfortable at a good price with very nice, polite and efficient staff. Would recommend and certainly use the hotel again as we definitely will return to this lovely city!
