Location location. You could literally skip the few hundred feet to the Arc de Triomphe, which we could also see from our suite’s spacious double balcony. Whether it’s your first time in Paris or you’re a seasoned traveler to France like I am, you can’t go wrong with this Philippe Starck designed palace hotel. A testament to modern French design in a classical building. Our suite honored the hotel’s theme of mirrors and sleek modern Japanese inspired design. The WC had a smart Toto toilet with a warmed seat which was a fun novelty. Smart light switches. Tea and coffee facilities available in the room including a kettle which I like for tea. The beds were comfortable. The buffet breakfast was extensive and superb. Friendly and helpful staff at every encounter who aren’t afraid to go the extra mile which has been a notable feature of every palace hotel I’ve stayed at in France. I used the gym and found it clean, it did get a little busy as it hit the evening but not too crowded. We dined at the hotel’s Japanese restaurant ‘Matsuhisa’ and had a marvelous meal. Overall, a lovely stay.
We stayed for three days; the rooms are beautiful! The interior design of the rooms is very contemporary, out of ordinary and the bathrooms are very nice with this multitude of mirrors. The reception team is very friendly; the only downside would be room service. They can do better I believe.
We love this hotel. We are fortunate to frequently visit Paris and this is our hotel of choice. It’s location is ideal to many of the “tourist attractions” and it is only a 5 minute walk to the Champs Elysees. The facility itself is beautiful and the service and staff some of the best. The concierge staff is exceptionally helpful in planning your stay, whether it be acquiring theatre or event tickets or train tickets they are there to help. We have never had a bad experience here and we have stayed in this facility at least 5 times. Enjoy their bar and dining facilities, you won’t be disappointed.
Stayed during the French Open. A couple of players were here too. This is the Five Star Paris experience you want. Great people from the door men with their bottles of water to the front desk who pushed for a room upgrade and the amazing breakfasts and fabulous bar scene. Never miss the breakfast as they make it memorable. Modern and super cool room. This felt boutiquey but not too small and not a massive Paris hotel without a soul. Would stay again
The sheer beauty and opulence of the hotel should be warning enough that this isn't for the savers. The hotel is exquisitely put together with Stark at his best in the design not just in the most obvious places, such as the entrance, but in the stairwells... such as the herd of wooden deer on the first floor. The bar is as visually appealing as the expertly put together drinks, the restaurants as delicious to sit in as the food to eat. The bedrooms ooze with design character but are more than style. The beds may be the best I've slept in, the mirrored bathrooms amongst the nicest to bathe and the TVs inset behind mirrors a marvel to watch. The spa is equally stunning, the pool a sanctuary with a sky view and the gym well stocked. Just beware... you can't order breakfast of even a few eggs without smashing your wallet to pieces. Every drink and morsel of food will weigh more heavily than they should. Is it worth it? Just. Maybe, just.
I stayed here in the month of april in luxurious room.. the service is really professional and very welcoming. especially the general menager a very large pool and the staff is really good great location for the center
Highly recommended, Loved my stay Warm welcome starting from the entrance door. Girl who checked in forgot her name was so professional. Gave full info about hotel and escorted till the room by explaining all facilities. Would love to stay again Didn’t liked the view from the window though
Beautiful hotel with quirky art and fixtures but that’s what makes this hotel different from the rest , the courtyard is one of the best you will see in France it has 4 restaurants all facing and joining the fairy lit terrace , the bar lounge area is quite intimate considering it’s size the staff at this hotel are wonderful and very friendly nothing is a problem from the reception to the barman to the in room staff the suites are stunning ,eclectic and fun whilst still remaining luxurious , this truly is a stunning hotel in a great location and I must mention the girl whose name I have forgotten in concierge was unbelievable she arranged flights and hotel for us at the last minute to Cannes all with the biggest smile on her face which we are so thankful for she truly was the epitome of great hotel service and true professionalism, we will definitely stay here again as they made our stay in Paris a wonderful experience.
Excellent and full of taste. Since the last renovation and total refurbishing from Stark..the place is now..a little jewel. Excellent. I did not stay at this Hotel on this trip but just has a drink with some friends. I can tell honestly that the Hotel rocks indeed and the staff is really lovely. Yours,Olli from Riad Dar Najat in Marrakech.
The hotel is beautiful! The design by Starck is stunning, especially the mirror and metal bathroom. It is truly a unique luxury and glamorous hotel. The bed is so comfortable. Front desk and concierge teams are great. The F&B service is slow but while waiting you get entertained by so many celebrities walking in and out. The patio terrace is charming. I really enjoyed my stay there.
