Needs bigger room and refrigerator, room too small. Easy to go for transportation a lot of restaurant.
Location was the primary reason I picked this hotel...more work is needed in areas such as room cleanliness and comfort. The bathroom was not cleaned when we arrived. The poor cleaning lady had her work cut out. Wireless service is extremely slow...but good enough to check emails /send few WhatsUp text messages...I would recommend this hotel to those who just want to get in / get outjust want to get in / get out
Hotel was right across from the train station, which was great. Not the best part of town... Room furniture was worn down. Breakfast was in a neighboring hotel. It's ok if you're looking to save money.
This hotel is located right across the street from the Metro Nord, which is great when you want to travel around Paris and Europe. Breakfast (just $8.50 pp) is SUPER compared to other places in Europe. Size of room is nice, enough for two people with nice bathroom. Lots of restaurants around hotel. Take the bus Paris Tour, but don't buy tickets online, they're more expensive than paying in the bus directly. We had a great time in Paris... Enjoy it !!
A little dirty, floors good use a good cleaning. Beds were not very comfy. There was no hotel breakfast, we were instructed to go next door to the cafe for food. There was free wifi and the Gare du Nore train station was directly across the street. It was ok for just a place to sleep. Would never stay there again.
If you aren't looking to spend much time in your hotel room then this hotel would be fine. The rooms/hotel isn't that great however, it is in a fantastic location. It is right across the street from the Gare du Nord train/metro station so it is very easy to get to with your luggage and it is very easy to get around the city from there. The rooms are clean, staff is friendly, would recommend.
I chose this location for its proximity to the RER & the Metro. An entrance to the station is on the sidewalk right in front of the hotel making rainy Paris days easier to deal with. The added bonus was the number of places to get a late night snack when most of Paris was closing down. The staff was always very friendly and the hotel was clean. It is an economy class hotel so have low expectations and you will be happy with the place. We had a courtyard room that was perfectly quiet.
The Richmond hotel is literally across the street from Paris' Gare du Nord, making it ideal for commuters such as myself. I spent a night in Paris between two connecting flights (CDG), toward the end of February 2013. The hotel - or at least a portion of it - had seen recent renovation. The rooms were outfitted toward a modest but stylish look, saloon Paris meeting the utilitarian. I enjoyed a one-night stay in a clean, classy, comfortable environment. My accommodations featured a standard queen-sized bed room and a notably spacious bathroom. Central heating was available, as well as an air conditioning unit. The windows were facing an inner alcove and I had plenty of peace and quiet. Tip: Some of the rooms are overlooking a rather busy street. At the time of booking, best to alert the staff if noise is not your friend. The members of the staff that I have had the pleasure to talk to have been very eager to help, equally fluent in both French and English. Free access to Wi-Fi is available on request, no strings attached. Amenities such as breakfast and airport shuttle are available upon additional fee. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a one-night or weekend's stay.
