My wife visited Paris for a few days and had the pleasure of staying at the Le Grand. The property including our room was amazing and staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was and close to Opera and our shopping destinations, which made it very convenient.

in a word "pathetic" the rooms were so small that my wife and i had to watch each other to get around the room. there was no closet space at all very uncomfortable it is not the point of the terrible room it is that we were not told up front. for over $ 400 night there are thousands of other hotels in paris we would have chosen spoiled our romantic get away

the mini bar was empty !! As an ambassador, we were suppose to have water and fruit....we had nothing....the shower was broken that after we unpacked, we had to repack and change rooms.....this hotel needs work...

This hotel was the place choosen to spend our 2nd honeymoon and was really wonderfull!! It's well located, clean, confortable. For sure, we will come back!

The hotel staff was extremely accommodating and courteous. The breakfast at the hotel was fabulous...choice of about 50 items everyday at the breakfast buffet. Delicious and excellent service again. The hotel lobby, spacious room and excellent service defines Paris sophistication and culture!

This is a great hotel in a very good location. The staff was attentive and looked after our every detail. The only issue we had during 9 days was the initial check in which took until after 3 pm, but our room was worth the wait, a great suite on the 4th floor where we could step on the balcony and have views of Paris. If 8 euro cokes make you nervous, then this isn't the place, but if you want a first class comfortable hotel, I highly recommend the Grand.

Loved this hotel and could not say enough good things about it! Location was great! Walking distance to pretty much everything from shopping and cafes to the Louvre and other monuments. The rooms were a little small but that is to be expected in Europe. If you have the option to get the breakfast included with the room, you will not be disappointed Cafe la Paix is legendary and has a great breakfast spread that left us more than satisfied every morning with a great view! Hotel staff was always helpful and kind and the hotel lobby and main areas are first class! Will definitely stay there again when we go back!

The InterContinental was one of the main highlights to my visit to Paris. The hotel itself is beautiful and filled with attentive staff. Every night the concierge offered fantastic recommendations for each meal that made our food experience surpass all my expectations. The hotel also offered an amazing buffet every morning that was perfect for days when we wanted to sleep in later. The location of the hotel was perfect and central to walking around the streets and exploring Paris. This hotel is a definite must and I can't wait to go back again in the future!

The hotel is located conveniently a block away from the Opera House and the Opera Metro station, which is a hub of RER and Metro lines; in short, you can get anywhere in Paris from here. If you don't wish to pay the 37 Euro Breakfast fee (ouch!), there are plenty of places around to grab an omelette, pastry, whatever you prefer. Our two rooms were small but elegant, spotless, with superb bathrooms supplied with white flannel robes, slippers, plenty of towels bath and shower. The bed linens were turned down in the evenings. We were very pleased. Wifi was available but expensive, and the hotel's server didn't accommodate my e-mail, so that was an irritating discovery. The staff at the Hotel were terrific, eager to please, fluent in English, happy to make reservations or give transportation advice. The only caveat I would consider in going there again is that the area is "tourist central." Imagine having a hotel near Times Square. It's convenient, flashy, but perhaps not the most charming Parisian location. It all depends on what you want from the visit.

it was a quick weekend trip to take in good food and lots of champagne. all was in easy reach of the hotel. the concierge staff was helpful with suggestions and reservations. if you call ahead they can arrange hard to get reservations and tickets to opera/ballet which is right next door.

Paris Le Grand was in a great location, 5 minutes walking distance to the Opera metro station. The hotel was pleasingly decorated and the lobby and atrium area had a luxiourous feel. We had a king size bed in our room, which was very comfortable. The one item that we found odd was that the toilet was in a separate room from the shower and sink. All in all, a lovely place in a beautiful city. We typically order room service for breakfast on our last day of a trip, but the high priced menu made us change our mind. Beignets and other pastries outside the hotel and even at the entrance to the Opera metro station are worth a stop.

Le Grand was very luxurious. Comfortable bed, clean room, & very close to metro. Located in a nice area of Paris. My wife & I celebrated our 10th anniversary (2nd honeymoon) it was romantic & more than I could have expected! Concierge is extremely helpful, especially making reservations for dinner or excursions, & setting up pick up times with transportation. It was beneficial to have them translate as well. Hint: make reservations for Eiffel tower on line to go up to top. The wait was always about an hour with no reservation.

My husband and I booked a small room at The Grand for our last two nights in France. We expected the room to be small and it was, but it was small, clean, and charming. What we did not expect was poor service-- no one answered at the concierge (this happened numerous times), people who called us were not transferred to our room and were told we were not staying there, and our waitress at the bar stormed off after we asked her what the special was for the day. I was not impressed and would look for somewhere else to stay on our next visit.

Our trip was very nice. The Paris Le Grande was a very nice place to stay. Very friendly and comfortable. With plenty of help from the concierges. Quite expensive though. They absolutely charge for everything. Beware of the mini bar in your room. We found that the local restaurants in the area were just fine and reasonable. Our roundtrip from the airport to hotel via taxi was good. Use the tour bus to cut down on your walking. The tours that the Hotel offered through the local tour agency were really nice. The booking through [...] had a couple of glitches but worked out o.k. in the end. All in all it was a nice trip. International security is a nightmare and my luggage was delayed. Make sure you put your name and address in your luggage also.

This was a Great Stay. The Hotel staff was curteous and gave us complimentary champagne for our special occasion. The room was a good size, very clean and impotantly very comfortable. The location is excellent. It was close to the Louvre and lots of restaurants. Also the concierge service allows you to get tickets to museums so you dont have to wait in line for tickets! The one thing that was a little rough was the busy and somewhat confusing check in. Overall, being a frequent traveler I would rate this particular stay as one of the best.

Nice hotel near all the major dept. stores and subway lines. Also convenient to airport shuttle. If you are traveling alone and plan to use the room service, it leaves something to be desire.

My husband let the hotel know that this was for our 40th anniversary celebration and they not only upgraded our room but gave us champagne and chocolates for our first night which was most appreciated. We had a wonderful view of the opera house and a great central location.

The location is central making it convenient to Roissybus for cheap fare to and from Charles deGaulle. The area (Opera) lacks restaurants. But all in all, a pretty nice hotel.

This was our first stay at the Paris Le Grand but will not be our last. The location, facilities and especially the very prompt personal service were impeccable, meeting then exceeding our expectations. The Paris Le Grand is indeed a five-star experience not to be missed when visiting the City of Light.
