We have been staying at the Montalembert for years and it's always a wonderful experience. It's location is ideal to explore the vibrant left bank and also a short walk to the louve, Tuileries and right bank shopping. The hotel interiors have recently been renovated in a chic style that blends well with the beautiful period building. But the stand out feature of the hotel is the staff, which are attentive, warm and provide top notch service. It's a special place that we always look forward to coming back to.
We spent 5 nights in this newly renovated hotel. It's tucked slightly away from the bustle of Boulevard Saint Germain so that you are close to so many places while still maintaining the private luxury of a boutique hotel. A short walk to numerous museums, shops and restaurants. We had a junior sweet which offered plenty of space-especially the dressing area. Our large windows opened to a view of the Eiffel Tower and Grand Palais. Breakfast was delivered each morning at the exact time we requested. I can't say enough about the attentive staff that was always willing to help us with any request. We look forward to our next trip to Paris and Hotel Montalembert.
We just returned to the Montalembert after the near completion of a major remodel. It has been our go-to spot in Paris for years and the remodel did not disappoint. While the rooms are on the small side by US standards - they in no way feel cramped. The modern furnishings are beautiful and integrate stylishly with the historic features of the property. The new bathrooms are luxe and I love that they now have hardwood floors in the rooms. But the real star at The Montalembert is the service. Everyone who works there - from the doormen to the people in the restaurant - are friendly and so on top of their game. We stay there a few times a year and I am always pleasantly surprised to be greeted by name by almost every employee. As an indication of their commitment to excellent service - when we were checking out at 5:00 am I told the man at the front desk that I thought the elevator was stuck on the third floor where my colleague was trying to load her things. He literally sprinted up the 3 flights, fixed the issue, loaded her and her things, raced back down the stairs to me and loaded all of our things in a taxi - all of this with a smile on his face. Wow! The location is superb with all the Left Bank offers and the Louvre just ten minutes away by foot as well. I highly recommend the Montalembert. We travel frequently all over the world and this hotel is a standout. I can not wait to go back for our next trip in the fall.
Charming hotel on the left bank. Since we prefer the 6th for shopping and dining, it is an excellent location. Walking distance to everything we frequent but also moments away from the Louvre, Musee D'Orsay or Place de la Concorde. Having stayed before at the Georges V, Sofitel, Plaza Athenee, I can say Hotel Montalembert is now our preference. Beautifully appointed and intimate enough to feel like your personal hotel. The entire staff was welcoming, very helpful and most importantly, seemed genuinely kind and happy taking care of their guests. Pascal was amazing and did everything to ensure that my birthday was very special. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!!!
The Montalembert Hotel is a charming hotel on the left bank, excellently located for visiting the sights and sounds of central Paris. It's recent renovation has created a modern look and feel, but there is traditional friendly service and excellent quality facilities. The hotel is discreet and quiet. You feel special.
Chic, stylish comfortable, and a polite and welcoming staff, excellently managed. Beautiful interior design accompanies the kind service from the desk to the dining experience to the well appointed and immaculately kept room (47). Add to this, the more personal service that a smaller hotel setting can offer, and the entire is elevated.
This medium-sized hotel is outstanding. Wonderful location, particularly if you are going to the Musee D'Orsay. Service is exceptional. Breakfast is very good. We love the bar in all seasons. We will definitely book this hotel again when we next visit Paris
This hotel and its staff prove all those rumours about rude Parisians are actually wrong. From check-in to check-out, we were met by polite, helpful people. The room at the top with a view of the Eiffel is something we will always remember, as well as the unusually opulent breakfast that was served in the room on a huge tray with refined delicacies and great coffee. The lobby and the spiral staircase are like picture postcards. We had lunch at the lobby restaurant and it was excellent fare. A short walk to Musee D'Orsay, the Notre Dame and the avenues of St Germain, a perfect boutique hotel.
This hotel is very well kept, clean, and modern but it also has a lot of Parisian charm. It's easy walking distance to lots of the sights including the Louvre, Pont des Arts and Musee de l'Orangerie. The staff were very friendly and the lobby is nice and cosy in the winter time.
This hotel is the best we have ever stayed at. We were a family of 6. The showers were amazing with many different settings. Comfortable beds with beautiful linen. Extremely helpful staff, you could tell the staff really loved their jobs and were proud to work at this establishment. Excellent room service.
