Excellent location. Several pastry shops, grocery stores, cafes, and open markets nearby. Quiet street at night. Very helpful and friendly staff. Would recommend. Shower a bit small for a big man.

Great experience with the hotel. Small room but quite comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect location to see the tourists sights of Paris. Convenient to Luxembourg Station, the restaurants and bars of the Latin Quarter, the Pantheon, St. Genevieve, Notre Dame and the Seine. Short city bus ride to the Louvre and Eiffel Tower and St. Michael's Loved the staff and the breakfast. They made an impromptu trip to Paris for the weekend a wonderful experience. Only con is if you need a bigger room or shower. The room was small but very well done and very clean..

Our trip to Paris was improved by staying at this hotel which was so well located between two different metro lines! There were many shops, cafes and bakeries nearby. Walking to various locations including Notre Dame was easy and safe! The staff under the leadership of manager Valerie were so friendly and helpful. Directions to museums and tourist sites were given on a daily basis. Rooms were small but clean. Breakfast was served daily and included eggs, yogurt, granola, fruit, pastries, juice and coffee.

We were in Paris for 1 week. We stayed in Arr 8 for 4 days and Arr 5 for 3 days. We liked this hotel a lot. The staff was extremely friendly and the room was clean. The location was fantastic! Latin Quarter is the place to be!!! I would stay here again!!

Stayed in Paris for eight days. Hotel was comfortable and in an excellent location. Metros very near. Walking to all major sights was absolutely possible. Staff at the hotel could not have been more helpful.

First, Beatrice and Marie were superb hostesses and made us feel very welcome and cared for. Second, the rooms were very nicely appointed, with the exception of the narrow bathtub. The breakfast was good if a little pricey, but the in-room coffee and tea were great. We were here during a heat wave and the a/c was extremely nice to have. Also the location was superb.

I went to Paris for a math conference at College de France. The location was great: on rue Monge close to the conference venue and near the many restaurants on rue Moufftard. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Like many Paris hotels the rooms are small and the shower is like a phone booth but it was a pleasant place to stay and I would do it again. Free Wifi is a little funky - OK for email and internet, but intentionally not for Skype.

Staff was the best I've ever dealt with. Very helpful and willing to do whatever we asked to help navigate the city or just giving recommendations on shopping or dining. Clean rooms and Wifi was petfect! Do not hesitate to stay at this hotel?

The hotel is a 3 star hotel but one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in. The staff is excellent. Marie, Beatrice and Valarie were so kind and always ready to be of assistance. They all speak English and Marie has such a great sense of humor. The hotel is close to the Metro and a good central location.

Very comfortable and quiet. Almost on top of a metro station. Windows that open and quiet street. Restraunts close by. Notre Dame within walking distance

My son and I had a great time experiencing Paris for the first time. I'm glad we choose this hotel as it was in a great area to walk to fun bars and restaurants and east to get to the metro. Since my son is 18, I wanted to stay in a little younger, hipper neighborhood and we both really enjoyed our morning walk to the nearby square- awesome food and friendly people. The staff was excellent, very nice and helpful. In fact, all the Parisians we met we're very friendly and helpful (so much for stereotypes). The rooms was small but that's what I expected and it met our needs. It was clean and had just what we needed. And, let's be honest, you don't go to Paris to sit in a hotel room! We were pretty much just there to sleep and get ready - we had full days exploring the lovely city! Would for sure book this hotel again!

Traveled with adult daughter. Location was good, 10 minutes walking to Notre Dame in residential neighborhood. This hotel was everything I had hoped, clean safe, with helpful staff. I esp want to mention Marie at the desk who always helped us and answered all our questions. Of course the room was small, as expected

Clean and friendly. Close to everything including shopping.

My husband and I stayed here for four nights during our honeymoon. The hotel receptionist who greeted us at check-in was extremely nice and fluent in English. She gave us a map of the area and highlighted all of the major attractions. Our room faced the main street, but we were never bothered by the noise. The room is small by US standards, but it met our needs very well. It also had a minifridge, which was appreciated. We did not try the breakfast, as there are many cafes within walking distance that offer breakfast for half the price.

Once you accept that all hotel rooms in Paris are very small, even at very nice hotels, then you will be pleased with this place--small, pleasant lobby; helpful receptionist; clean, well-lit room with everything we needed; large, comfortable bathroom. We don't eat breakfast, so we can't comment on that, but for the price the hotel was above average. It is very convenient to two Metro stations and a brisk 15-minute walk to Notre-Dame. Quite close to the Jardin des Plantes as well.

clean, simple, basic with friendly staff and nicely located.

We loved our stay here. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, however, but rather picked up some goodies each morning at either a bakery down the street or the grocery store nearby. The staff was incredibly nice - the room was clean and comfortable.

We stayed at this Hotel for 12 days, they were so helpful, directions for anything we needed, they even set up our tour to go to Normandy for the day, lots more in expensive than any other tour we looked at on line.. Rooms are small cause it is the oldest area of Paris, but so Paris... loved it.. had a view of the street from the third floor. wonderful food locations close to the hotel. there is laundry shop, and market close.. Loved our stay there, will be back...

Very goof staff. Hotel tired but practical Small room but clean, good sound insulation,. Didn't have breakfast. Would reccomend to a friend
