The view from our room was FANTASTIC! 5 STARS for view. Also, 5 stars for employee Islem -- he was outstanding!! He is the
Star of the hotel. There was another young man that was fairly rude and unhelpful and seemed annoyed with our questions as he was working on homework at the front desk. Luckily, Islem was nearby, stepped in to help and corrected the misinformation the other guy had given us. The spa was also fantastic although i never heard back from my email to reserve my preferred day/ time in advance. A staff member also walked in when i was in tub which was unsettling. Lastly, the breakfast experience was very frustrating. There were not enough open seats and they kept running out of cups and glasses and silverware. We enjoyed the food itself but it wasn't a pleasant meal having to stand while eating, then move outside, then move back inside once people were smoking next to us (i have asthma) and then finally moving back to open seats inside to have to hunt down someone for a coffee cup and then for a glass and then for orange juice. We were there in middle of breakfast time (not the end) so there shouldn't have been food/drink depleted. We were also surprised by tourism tax or fee or something that was nearly $100!!! The room was already very expensive and we expected the ~$20 to be paid on site but not that extra huge fee. Thank you for reading. We tried to be very fair in sharing both highlights and frustrations for our stay.
