Novotel Paris Vaugirard Montparnasse

The location of this hotel was great. Very close to a metro station and close to Eiffel Tower. Room was very small. We got a bottle of water only for the first day. The view of the Eiffel Tower from the rooftop is amazing. Service at the restaurant on the main floor was okay. None of the staff spoke English.

This Novotel is ok, good location with the metro only a minutes walk but the room/experience is average. The rooftop bar is by far the best thing about this hotel, the view from the top is stunning especially at night as you can see the Eiffel Tower lit up. The cocktails are good although expensive. Also be aware, when you check into this hotel they take a £30 per person per day transaction from your account, we couldn't quite understand why we needed to do this(something about tax?) but we were assured it would be refunded so it was ok. The service here is good too, always friendly and happy to call you a taxi etc. I would stay again.

The hotel has a nice view on the rooftop! The room was not very new, but it's up to the four star standard. The staff there are professional! I should say overall the experience is pretty good! In addition, the location is good! Just 2min outside the metro station!

This was the 3rd hotel we stayed at as part of our group. The 2nd Novotel. Our guide told us this would be BETTER than the Brugge location, however he was mistaken. The hotel is located centrally, walking distance to metro & bus lines, and many shops, stores and grocery nearby. For safety, there is a police station directly across the street. The Hotel lobby and bar area looks very nice upon entering. The bar drinks here will be pricey. $10 Euro for a coffee with baileys? Be careful when going up to your room. If you wanted to take the stairs... you may find yourself being chastised by the staff... as it goes to the dining area. and the 1st floor is really the 3rd floor. Elevators were generally quick, but sometimes you will experience a wait. There are announcements posted in the elevator, so watch for those. The Room.... Below average. I have stayed at Super 8/Motel 6/La Quinta that were nicer than this. The pictures on the website did not match the room we got. NO DRESSERS? When staying for 3 nights... unpacking is sometimes desirable. Our room had broken light fixtures in the bathroom, there was a shadow on the wall where there used to be a picture... and there is no Air Conditioning. There is a thermostat on the wall, but the fine print specifies it can only be used to turn UP the heat, not cooling. Many people in our party complained, and some where presented with room fans which helped slightly. The carpet in the room was dirty and needed either a good cleaning, or replacement. There were 2 twin beds in the room, which we moved together so we could sleep next to each other. The next day the maid staff made up the room... and moved them apart again. On the 3rd day of our stay, we displayed the DO NOT DISTURB sign so as to NOT have them moved... but they cleaned the room anyway... moving the beds apart again. The rooftop bar..... when we arrived 1st night, there was a light of about 12 people waiting for drinks. I saw at least one wait staff running in & out side with drinks... 2 bartenders in VERY close quarters that seemed slow and disorganized... and another staff who would come in from another door, bringing cups. It took quite a while to get to our turn, we saw many people leave. They had happy hour specials which were affordable, but everything else pretty pricey. Oh, and when we were there... NO ICE! Nothing better than a WARM mojito. The breakfast here was similar to the Novotel Brugge... limited selection, disorganized... oh, and could they PLEASE stop serving raw bacon? Not sure what the purpose of that is. Overall, it was a very disappointing stay. would NOT return to this hotel, and disappointed in the Novotel brand because of this facility.

Good news!! You have a nice view towards Eiffel Tour. Bad news!! Hotel management needs to realize that the type of services provided to the guests are way way way below the standard of a normal 4 star hotel.

The best part of this hotel is the view from the bar on the 7th floor. We are unimpressed with everything else. End of May is warm weather and yet the "air conditioning" they claim to have is non existent. I called on the first night to ask about our room being too hot and they bought up a small fan to use. They turn the air-conditioning at night as it's cooler then apparently. Well I don't think it cools until 2 or 3 in the morning and by then its too late. The breakfast is average also, same food every day. The prices of food and drink in their bar is ridiculous and not very impressive quality. Beds are on the soft side but are comfortable enough. Would not come back here and would not recommend it to others. We're still here for a few more nights and had we not prepaid we would be moving somewhere else.

Nice tourist class hotel, in the South of the city proper (15 Arrondissement) near the Porte de Versailles. Has good connections on public transportation to all Paris destinations. Standard toursit hotel rooms, not very large not extremely small, no AC, all other basic amenities are there, clean and friendly staff. Reasonalby quiet street that is almost a direct line to St Germain de Près.

The staff at the hotel was terrific. Everyone we met spoke English and were knowledgeable about sights to visit. They reserved tickets for us, ordered taxis and were readily available if we had a question.

I have stayed in the hotel for 6 nights. Location is OK, a metro station is close. Rooms are large and comfortable. However, overall the hotel is slightly dated. Largest drawback: the wifi is slow and drops constantly. Really annoying.

Since day one the stay was awful no body bothers to ask if u need any help, upon arrival there was no trolly available so we had to carry our bags by our selves, we ask for iron and iron board the receptionist went inside and came out holding them and she gave it to us and said u take it 😳 how come !!!!!!!!!!!! Room service never answered the phone not even once, one time we called reception to order food they connected us with room service they brought the food but no cutlery, when we called back again they told us to go to the main restaurant and get it by our selves 😳 again how come !!!!!!!! The last two nights they didn't make up our room, when I called reception asking why she just replied " I'm sorry but we don't have house keeping for now" I replied " I'm not asking to send me someone now I'm just asking why no body clean up our room" , but still there was no justification. DND sign means nothing to them because they keep knocking the door. Location is terrible nothing near by every time u need to order a taxi, I will never consider coming back to this hotel.
