If you have to visite the Paris expo porte versailles it is a good choice to stay at the Novotel Paris Vaugirard Montparnasse. It is only 2 Metrostops (#12) south plus less than 5 minutes walk. The friendly hotel offers what you need for a business stay. But not much more. They have an early Breakfast from 6:30 during the week where you cook your own fried eggs in little pans, and best thing is the nice view from the rooftop bar for an after work wine :-). Room was elderly but clean. It is a good advice to pick a room to the quiet backyard; they have even numbers !
We’re currently staying in this hotel. Our booking period 6-9 April 2018. However, we arrived hotel on 7 April in the morning. We paid 1 night in advance, but we still have to wait for our room more than 3 hrs. and got room not the same as we booked. We already complained directly to hotel and Agoda assist us to send e-mail to hotel that you should refund money to client. Currently, the hotel doesn’t reply back to us or action anything. We keep follow up with the hotel before we check out, but receptionist always inform that they don’t have any authorization to make any decision for this case and their management team not available to talk with us. To whom that consider to book this hotel, we would like to warn you to reconsider again and again. This’s the worst hotel that we’ve ever booked. If we have to vote for this hotel, they should get 0 from 100.
My wife and I stayed here as part of our gate 1 tour package. The hotel was nice, and I had no complaints about it. The bathroom was clean as was the room. There were several metro stations near. It is a bit out of the way of many of the famous spots. There are some game tables in the lobby that were fun. There are no vending machines, so once the bar closes there is no where to get something to drink. I found that out the hard way.
Staff were welcoming and friendly and very helpful. Room was lovely and spacious. Apparently the minibar contents were included in the room and we could help ourselves.....during our 3 night stay it was just one bottle of water per day between the two of us! Not really what you expect. Other than that the stay was wonderful. The bed itself was extremely comfortable. Hotel convenient not to be too close to everything but not too far either. Eiffel Tower was walking distance. Metro very close so easy access to anywhere we needed to go. Would gladly stay here again on the next visit.
Excellent front desk service, the hotel is just next to a subway station, just 3 minutes walk from the hotel. A small supermarket is just a step away ( infant ), a lot of cafe's near by and small shops. 15 minutes from the city center by train, 10 minutes by taxi.
Enjoyed very warm welcome from the staff and received a personalised letter in my room. Overall the staff was very attentive, but the 'eiffel tower view' was a bit farfetched.. Personally I would not call seeing the tip of it a view on the tower, but alas, my stay was very comfortable and I would definitely recommend this hotel!
I was very impressed with the staff in the front desk, extremely professional, friendly and helpful. The room are on the smaller side compared hotels in the states, however they have everything you need, are comfortable and very clean. Our room had a tiny balcony with street view which was a nice touch, and once you closed the door there was no outside noise coming in. My favorite part was the rooftop terrace and bar, amazing views of the Eiffel tower and nice selection of drinks (those were a bit overpriced, but the view of the eiffel tower made it worth it). The location is steps away from the train station. The street has some restaurants and supermarkets, however everything does close fairly early. Overall, i would recommend this hotel.
We visited this hotel for a weekend break. The staff are very helpful. Check in was efficient and quick. We had emailed before arriving to ask if we would have our room early and indeed it was ready for our arrival. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. We stayed on the third floor and we found the hotel to be very quiet during the night. There as a mini fridge and a kettle. Plenty of towels and some toiletries. We had breakfast on our last morning. There was plenty of choice, however, there are so many nice places round about that serve breakfast. The hotel is in a nice area, not too far from the Eiffel Tower. There are lovely patisseries and other nice little shops close by and plenty of supermarkets. We would definitely stay here again.
Great Location just next to the Metro + shops. An especially warm welcome from the friendly staff who spoke excellent English. There was a bath and a small terrace in our superior room with a view of the top of the Eiffel tower. There was a fridge in the room but unfortunately it wasn't working. There is also a safe + seperate toilet. Breakfast was good, Cereals, Full English, + Continental with Juices, plus a selection of hot drinks including hot chocolate. There is a Gym + sauna in the hotel but I didn't use it There is also a rooftop bar but it wasn't open in the winter. I would recommend this hotel.
Great location in the centre of the main attractions (Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Notre dame cathedral). Lovely lobby area and decor, rooms were impressive and very clean. The staff at the front of the lobby were attentive, helpful and very welcoming (and were fluent in English which helped a lot). Only issue we had was a very rude and unwelcoming lady working at the bar, we were relaxing in the bar and the manor in which she approached us and spoke to us led us to leave the area. The man pictured in the last image was an absolute delight, so friendly and informative, really went out his way to ensure everything was to our liking and was understood.
