We spent a delightful three nights at Le Relais Saint Charles in a Superior room with a lovely view of the Eiffel Tower. The room was a good size, had a very comfortable bed and large bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean. The hotel is in a great location right next door to the easy to use Metro, with lots of goor quality eateries nearby. We had the window open at night and despite the nearby road and Metro we did not experience any adverse noise. We would thoroughly recommend the Hotel.
If you are going to Paris for a couple of days, this hotel is your best bet. The hotel also offers a view of the Eiffel Tower from selected rooms, and if you stay in one of them, your experience will be amazing. The bathroom sizes are pretty decent and they are very good. The location is amazing. It is just a 15 min walk from Eiffel Tower or a 5 minute ride by a taxi. The wifi also works with good speed Highly recommended.
It’s a reasonable hotel with decent sized bedrooms for Paris. The best bits are it’s location which is just outside a tube station (Dupleix) and the beds which I find very comfortable. Rooms’ carpets and decoration are starting to be on the to be on the tired side. Breakfast is quite average. If you have time go to one of the bars around. It will be better and cheaper.
We have just returned from this hotel which we booked to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We requested a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower and the reception staff were very accommodating with this. Our room was very comfortable and clean, and had a lovely view of the tower, which was especially spectacular at night when it is lit up. The hotel itself is in an ideal location to explore the stunning city of Paris, a pleasant 10 minute walk from the tower, and close to metro and bus routes. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and efficient. We would definitely stay here again.
Hotel is fine for a short break, rooms are nice and have everything you need, I’d recommend a room at the back of the hotel as no noice, walls are quite thin so hear a fair bit of noise but otherwise good
Our room was small but very clean and comfortable. It is literally right across the street from the metro which was insanely convenient. The staff was great and extremely helpful with advice on getting around the city. We could also see the Eiffel Tower from our room! The street is slightly loud at night with the train there and a few bars with some rowdy people but as long as our window was closed we were fine. Would definitely stay here again!
Rooms were small, location was supposed to be close to eiffel tower but that was not the case either, I am sure we could find a better hotel Staff are not nice, you have to wait for them 5 minutes to ask only one question, and some of them actually very rude, I don't know if they are like this with us because of our black skin color, or this is how french are ? by the way very bad experience
Hotels in Paris have small rooms, yes. Unless you want to spend your salary to sleep one night in a bigger one. S. Charles has small rooms as well however it's renovated, clean and very close to Dupleix metro station. Nice hotel, just a little expensive.
I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in mid July, with my partner and my mother and brother. This hotel was in a great location and right next to the metro. A short 15 min walk and you can see the Eiffel Tower :) The staff were very nice and helpful. I didn't try the breakfast at the hotel , but their are many coffee shops around which sell beautiful breakfast. The room were very clean and i could not fault the hotel. Just a tip to be very careful getting into the showers as you can slip very slippery as their is no grip.
We spent only one night in that hotel and glad we didn't have to stay longer. On the check in we were welcomed by the guy who was polite enough but not friendly. On every question the answer was - 'will tell you in a moment' or 'I don't know you will have to ask there'. He was just doing his job and nothing outside of his box. the location, not far from the tower, but still a bit of walk, even more walk of the place were there was anything going on... We had a dinner in the restaurant we have chosen, forget about any kind of recommendations from reception :/ After the dinner we stayed out for a drink and then the walk back is a bit long. Metro is outside the hotel however it is not direct metro to anywhere useful, you end up changing once or twice. We were there on one of the hottest days of the year so again you didn't want to be stuck in the stuffy metro... The room, small but cosy enough, all amenities were ok, excluding a big shower head which was terrible dirty. I don't think anyone every cleaned it as it was pretty high. I had to climb on the chair to get rid of the limescale so the water could flow down not to the sides :D We were on the second floor (208) so request higher floor if you want any kind of view. Also our room was just by the lift, just by the cleaner room, just next to the place when everyone is passing in the morning :) Not bad, on the cheaper side probably, just request a right room :)
