My husband and I had a lovely stay. The hotel is charming and boutique, with a perfect location. The staff went out of their way to make our anniversary weekend special and memorable. We can't wait to return!
0386434-Hotel_de_JoBo-Paris_Ile_de_France.html We had the most wonderful stay at the Hotel de Jobo. The rooms were charming, well equipped, staff was very helpful, and the location could not have been better for our family to walk out the door and see the sights. There is a metro stop just two blocks away that took us to the sights on the other side of Paris. We would definitely stay here again - we loved it!
Hotel de JOBO is one of the most charming hotels I’ve stayed in. But don’t think “charm” means you’re sacrificing some luxurious benefits. The room is made for the modern traveler, including USB ports, closet space, drawers and full length mirrors. Each room has its own Parisian charm and while sometimes you don’t want to leave it, you know you’re in the middle of one of the loveliest neighborhoods in Paris with cute restaurants, bars and shops on every street. Plus, you’re so close to the metro! Hotel de JOBO staff is highly trained and ready to meet all of your needs. I can’t thank them enough for a wonderful stay.
The hotel is in an excellent Marais location. The room we had was very clean and standard size for a European city hotel. Bathroom was surprisingly large. Perhaps we had high expectations based on reviews but there was a few things that bothered us. The reception area is very small and it almost seems like you walked into someone office by mistake. The staff was friendly but due to the size of the reception area, we always seemed awkward with the most simple inquiry. Second, the breakfasts were “weak” and we probably should have passed and gone to a neighborhood shop instead, coffee was good though. Finally, our room faced a city fire station. I have to say that the Paris firefighters do not run their sirens like their US counterparts nor do they seem to go on the number of runs we do but the flashing lights at night was a bit distracting. This is a nice quaint hotel but just thought it would be more.
JoBo is perfect. My fiancé and I arrived early in the morning after a red eye flight from New York and appreciated being able to store our bags until our room was ready (and the espressos given to us upon arrival). Cyril at reception was absolutely wonderful -- he gave us a detailed map of The Marais and personally walked us through the neighborhood, noting select restaurants, bars, etc. The dinner spot he suggested (Chez Janou) ended up being our favorite meal of the entire trip. We stayed in a Double Classic -- great for a couple. The layout was extremely efficient, the shower was amazing, and the bed was super comfortable. We faced the street and kept the windows open for a nice breeze (and to watch the cute firemen across the street). Most mornings we had the breakfast buffet at the hotel, which was delicious, and a great value. The Marais is such a dynamic, cool neighborhood, and JoBo is in the center of it. As a gay couple, we felt very comfortable and welcomed both in the hotel and surrounding area, and often had a glass of wine on the patio before heading out for the evening. JoBo felt like home, and we miss it already. We will be back! <3
My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Josephine Bonaparte for five nights on a trip to Paris. It is a lovely boutique-style hotel with some funky decor. We loved it! The room was a decent size, long and narrow with a little seating area that was very nice. The lounge/breakfast room was adorable and a very comfy spot to enjoy the delicious cafe au lait the staff bring you. I thought the breakfast price was pretty reasonable and convenient as well. The staff are all very friendly and professional to help with any questions or needs you have. Because the hotel is small, it felt that they knew you and remembered your requests. I was so appreciative that they were able to offer us an early check-in , as we flew overnight from the U.S. The hotel is tucked on a small street, so it is quiet, but is also close to a main street with the metro just 3 minute walk, and many restaurants and shops. Would recommend to anyone staying in Paris!
Beautiful little hotel, online images are accurate. The bed was actually comfortable and the room was surprisingly quiet. Great neighbourhood, rich in history. Strolling distance to galleries, good shopping and excellent food. Lovely staff.
My husband and I came to Paris to celebrate my Birthday. I chose JoBo because of the great reviews and also the location. The pics looked pretty as well so I was completely confident that I would love it. It could not have been better!! We arrived slightly early but our room was ready. Such a comfort when you just want to put down all your stuff and enjoy Paris. The room was a petite triumph! Small but very well appointed. Super cute styling and equipped with everything we needed. Maybe 2 minutes after being shown to our room, a knock on the door and voila, birthday champagne delivered compliments of the hotel and staff in honor of my birthday. We took it down to the courtyard and drank it while resting from the long travel. Really put me in the right mindset. We stayed four nights and it was perfect. Each staff member was very kind, helpful, and beyond pleasant. Breakfast is great, the bar is great, the location is great. Thank you Hotel de JoBo for helping to make my birthday so memorable!!
I loved everything about my stay at Hotel Jobo. The staff was so helpful and kind, the rooms and lobby & patio were so lovely and an oasis to step into after a day in the bustling city. Nice beds & linens. A lovely cafe creme & croissants on the patio each morning. Just perfect. And the location is easy walking distance to many points of interest. I would highly recommend to others!
Excellent staff, professional in every way. Very helpful in recommending and booking restaurants for us. Rooms very well appointed with great Parisian decoration. Great location just 5 minutes walk to metro. Would stay here again.
