Perfect getaway

The home was super clean very well stock with everything. We stayed and the location next door a few years back. But by far Dans mountain we liked the best. We will be back next year at same location.

Lovely Cabin!

We really enjoyed this cabin! Great location to Silvertree/Dutch’s. The only downside was the construction at Glendale Road and the detour we had to take, but hopefully it’ll be cleared up soon. Our dogs enjoyed the trip too!

Cute Cabin

Overall, nice cabin in a good location. we enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen and the TV's were very nice. We liked it a lot. Some items need repaired, such as broken blender, broken screen door, broken shower handle, and some mold in the basement. Also, some neighbors were patrying until late hours, fortunately, the house is fairly sound proof.

Short Family Getaway

Dan's Mountain was very welcoming and provided a great place for a quick family trip. The location is great as it is tucked away but close to all of the main roads and areas around the lake. The house was clean and had everything we expected based on the description. Would love to come back at some point but for longer.

Amazing place to stay

Very comfortable! We enjoyed our stay tremendously!! Location could not have been better. I hate to even mention this, but, there were used cigarette buts in a bucket by the campfire and cereal stuck between the pieces of wood on the table. I would however highly recommend this house as a place to stay.

Short weekend

Quiet and clean neighborhood, very pretty and nice for our small family to stay. Cabin was nice and had everything we needed. Property owner left little welcome package with some necessary items, which was a nice touch. Smart tvs saved the day when it rained and we were stuck indoors! Hot tub helped relax after a long hike.

Exactly as advertised!

The cabin was very sweet and cozy. It was clean and close to everything. We could walk to the Marina where we rented a boat. Just perfect!

Incredible stay!

1st time to deep creek and the cabin was perfect and beautiful! It was very clean, and had everything we needed. We cooked quite a few meals at the cabin with ease. The fire pit, grills, and hot tub were added bonuses and also used quite a bit. I also was able to bring my Great Dane and English mastiff that had plenty of room in the cabin and also room in the back to use. It was so nice to walk back through the community with my girls and feel like I was hiking in the mountains. The cabin was also in a great location and was 5-10 minutes from all the major attractions! My family of 5(kids 15,13,and 4) and dogs can’t wait till we do it again!

Winter birthday magic!

We rented this property for a surprise birthday trip for our 10 year old. It was perfect for our family of 6! Great communication ahead and check-in and impressive safety protocols for Covid. We had remote check-in and the house was clean and accommodating. We enjoyed cooking meals, fires, and lots of time in the hot tub. The backyard was larger than we expected and perfect for playing the the snow. The bedrooms were all en suite and we were able to set up extra sheets on the couch downstairs so our son could have his own room to sleep in. It felt homey but prepared for rentals. We really appreciated the bar on the downstairs sliders for our kids sleeping in the basement. The cabin is close to everything and we loved a visit to Candyland, hiking at Swallow Falls and getting takeout beer and pizza from Mountain State Brewery (we loved the amber ale, oatmeal stout, fire on the mountain and mushroom medley pizzas.) We cannot recommend this place enough! Thank you for sharing such a beautiful and warm home for our family weekend away. Just a note, it was coooold and there was lots of snow and icicles. The hot tub room does get cold and drafty during because it is above a deck. It was perfect for cold days and nights to hang but it was a little too cold and damp to enjoy the futon and hang outside of the hot tub. I am sure it is a great place to hang during warmer months but plan on only using that room for the hot tub when it is cold and snowy. It was a perfect winter weekend getaway, even during the pandemic!

Weekend in the mountains

Great place to stay

Very Clean only concern was the downstairs bathroom had a very strong mildew smell! Really enjoyed it here, they even provided the wood for the fire!!! Upstairs bedroom could use a ceiling fan
