Hotel is just so-so. No smile stuffs, speak tightly. I bought breakfast tickets but nothing could be eaten. Don't stay in it.

The Staff was great and helped us with all we needed. Room was clean and we had all we needed. Enjoyed the stay. No complaints.

We had a top floor room, with a view of the Courtyard. Staff extremely welcoming and helpful. Room was very quiet and comfortable. Our second stay here (we live in Maine) and will definitely stay here again when in the area.

I stayed here for one night on my 7 day road trip. I stayed at a different hotel each night. This was one of the better ones. The only reason I didn't give it a perfect score was because my fridge in the room didn't work and I needed to chill some items. It was too late when I got there to ask to have it replaced. I also would have liked to see more equipment in the gym. Otherwise the hotel is clean and the staff is friendly.

Marriotts are generally great but this particular one is exceptional. Staff was very cooperative especially as I required a couple of extra hours past check out time to catch up on some much needed sleep.

I've stayed at this hotel before, and each time have not been disappointed. The only thing I could say is to remember to bring your own shower cap :).

The staff was extremely helpful during the day and at night. The hotel was at a good location for my family to access the places that we needed to get to. We would have preferred complimentary breakfast, however there were supermarkets and restaurants close to the hotel.

We booked a room a month in advance for two queen beds and an accessible bathroom. We were first shown to room with two doubles and a regular bathroom.- with 90 yr old in wheelchair. We had to go back to desk. We had just driven 6 hours. We had to wait while the front desk searched for a room to accommodate us. An hour later, a room was found with an accessible bath but two double beds. I believe there are no rooms at this location with two queen beds and an accessible bathroom. Fortunately the staff was accomodating and helpful. We were given an extra room gratis, were brought lemon-lime water, and the man who helped us with our luggage was charming and concerned.

Nice rooms, easy access, was disappointed at the limited times the cafe was open. I'd definitely stay there again.

Convenient to downtown DC, but $50-100 cheaper. Just off 495, and drops onto CT avenue into WDC. Little cafe that makes fresh eggs for breakfast.

Good hotel and close to UMD. We will stay here again in the future.

quiet and walking access to variety of restaurants.

Everything was fine except: 1. the bed mattress was much to soft; and, 2. the breakfast service was poor.

Had a great experience with the hotel. Would highly recommend.

I really liked it. The decor is very appealing and inspiring. That was a nice experience. It would be perfect if they start serving free breakfast like some other hotels.

Everyone was friendly and eager to please. It was NewYear's eve and I didn't think I'd find a place to stay but they got me a room. The location was great for my evening plans. Will stay there again in the near future.

Review Categories above pretty much summarizes our experience. Quite a disappointment actually for an 'expected' Marriott experience (altho I'm not a 'regular' to the Marriott Chain. The Fairfield Inn 'experiences' we've had are far more favorable than that at this hotel. In our past experience, the Fairfield Inn has fulfilled all the missing links that the Marriott was poorly rated on above. The breakfast at the Marriott 'would have' cost us $9.95 EACH person. Perhaps I'm simply not made up for the 'BIG CITY' bend over and sign here extravaganza breakfasts near DC. Fairfield Inn, of course, has a gratis breakfast bar.... and the room rates where I've been are much more paletable - again - I've not booked in DC - only in Ohio (Cleveland) and Phoenix, AZ. Like the title says - "Oh well...." The wife says "Next time, find a different hotel...there are others nearby, of course.

It was a constant hassle trying to establish and maintain an internet connection. The rooms are hardwired LAN, not Wi-Fi. But the lobby is Wi-Fi. Some of the room modems are junk.[...]once you're connected, it is still intermittently on and off, on and off. Such a hassle! ===Another grief in the hotel is the night-time desk staff. [...] All together, it took twenty minutes to get to the room after checking in, what with a bad key card, and bad directions.===Oh, and forget about your own gratuity on the breakfast tab. Whatever you enter, more or less than $2 on a $10 tab, the accounting system ignores it and charges you an automatic $2 on your $10 breakfast bill.====The breakfast is not bad, but not worth $10 (at least in my estimation). It's the same limited buffet you get for free elsewhere. A good thing, though, is that kids eat free. But beware, teenagers are not considered kids.

We travelled to Washington DC for a bar mitzvah. This hotel room did not have a microwave but one was provided upon request.

We were comfortable as a family at this property. The kids enjoyed a dip in the pool and the continental breakfast suited our needs the next morning. As we were attending a family reunion nearby, we didn't spend much time at the property, but the location for our purposes was excellent, the room was comfortable and clean, and the pool was a welcome sight between family functions. All in all, a very pleasant experience for all uf us.
