Not what I expected from a resort. They had rude staff. Smelly room I had to stay in for five hours then they said if I want a nicer upgrade I have to pay more. They cancelled next day reservation.

They over exceeded our expectations, the food was superb, the ambience magnificent, the cost was reasonable

DO NOT STAY DURING THE HOLIDAYS!!! I had to complain because kids were constantly running up and down the hallway at all hours of the night and morning. It was impossible to sleep and to make matters worse the parents would open the door and start screaming at the kids to shut up. There were kids EVERYWHERE. I have stayed there before and enjoyed my stay, but during the holidays I will never return. If you don't mind hearing children screaming nonstop and running around outside your door then by all means GOOD LUCK SLEEPING! lol

Housekeeping efforts should be improved. Didn't see evidence that room was vacumed, wash rags weren't replaced, had to ask for additional shower gel. And major issue that one of the queen beds' mattress needed to be changed.

Average at best. Below average for the price point.

PROS: -It was a nice hotel walkable to the main street in National Harbor. -It had several dining options and for the most part, the food was great! -Free Shuttle to everything -The atrium was.nice and provided us with entertainment one of the nights -The staff was all very friendly -The halls were surprisingly quiet -The rooftop bar was a nice addition CONS: -The plumbing caused an awful squeaking noise overtime someone in a room flushed their toilet -The TV had lines going through it so it was hard -A maid walked in on me while I was about to get into the shower -Due to the size, there was a lot of walking -The shuttle only came every 30 minutes so we were almost always waiting for one. -On site and valet parking was over-priced. We recommend parking across the street in the St. George Parking garage. -Our national harbor view ended up actually just being a view of the hotel across the street.

Entire hotel was clean, friendly staff, beautiful place to stay. Good WAY over priced however there are good places within walking distance. Also a resort fee of $22 per night which we didn't use any of the amenities the resort fee covered & parking $30 per night. We parked at the ramp across the street for $18 per night.

I stayed for one night and I was blown away. Next time I will like to stay longer. I didn't get to see a lot but what I had the chance to see was amazing!!!

This hotel is not that close to the Washington DC monuments. You will need to take public trasnportation if you don't plan to rent a car. It will take you around 40 minutes to an hour to reach the DC area. In addition, the hotel does not provide a shuttle bus to connect you with the closest train stations. You will have to take the metrobus from the hotel to the nearest subway station. And from here your journey begins. I enjoyed Washington DC, it was a beautiful place to stay- a place full of history.

This is my second time at the two years. It has everything you'll need for a enjoyable stay in this area that's experiencing explosive growth. Most recently it added the long awaitied MGM Casino less than a mile away.

I went there for a mom's convention. The hotel is beautiful. Staff is really friendly.

I didn't notice at first but the bathroom floor was dirty right in front of the toilet

The Gaylord is a must stay...so much to see and do. My little one loved it. From the water light show to the waterfalls...and all the different things to see inside the atrium. The rooms are very nice just as I expected.

The spa was outstanding and the location was great. It's a huge hotel with public parking across the street (valet is convenient, costly but efficient and very helpful with my family and kids). The brunch for Mother's Day was expensive and I advise to RSVP). The grounds of the Hotel were maintained nicely and you can just walk to the water front a few steps away.

Very nice hotel and lots to at hotel and locally,,,,,,, a nice getway, close to home!

Great location, close to downtown and airports. Beautiful clean facility and the staff and on-site business support are wonderful. Great restaaurants within walking distance and a low-cost "taxi" that will take you downtown to enjoy the museums and sights. Am looking forward to my next event here.

The hotel was clean, great location and beautifully decorated. The staff was outstanding, friendly and polite! Definitely would stay there again.

The hotel is beautiful. The Lobby is fully decorated with Christmas decorations, but the rooms are not.. The Atrium is beautiful. There are limited restaurants and they are super expensive. Location wise, it's not too bad. While we were there, there was not much to do. We were watching the fountain, walked around and we watched the Ice show, which was super expensive and that was it. At check-in, the staff were nice; however, the Front Desk Agent did not explain about the resort fee, they just blocked a room for me and put me at the back of the building overlooking the electricity, antenna, etc. I felt so bad, but I did not want to complain. It was too far from the elevator. Even though I did not use the swimming pool, they charged me with a Resort fee. Their Restaurants are super expensive for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I should have enjoyed if I ate in their restaurants.

Friendly staffs, great locations and beautiful views
