"I came to Oakland to attend a concert, and the hotel did not disappoint. The location was prefect to the venue. The area had plenty to do,it was a ton of places to eat,which I loved. The hotel was quite, VERY CLEAN,the ENTIRE staff was friendly and helpful. I liked how the hotel had breakfast "fresh" breakfast every morning. My room was clean,bed was soft and comfortable. I do not have anything bad to say about this hotel......but do have a problem with the parking situation, which the hotel has nothing to do with anything outside the doors,except the VIP parking, it's really a rip off to charge $50 overnight. $30 for a day i think,$5 for 1/2 hour. The whole parking thing downtown is CRAZY. Just know next time I will not be renting a car, getting up by 8am to roam the streets because parking is $3 an hour at 8am is bananas,parking becomes free after 6p and hopefully you find a open spot. Hope people read this and don't do what I did,unless you have a lot of money to throw away on parking .I WILL BE USING THIS HOTEL AGAIN. JUST WON'T BE DRIVING LOL YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS HOTEL."
