Clean room, great area; no need to rent a car. In fact, we're very glad we did not. The trolley ($1.25/person or $3/day) is 5 minutes away from the hotel and it takes you to many places along the French Quarter/Market. Uber/Lyft we used from and to airport ($40) then twice during our stay. For example, the Casino ride was under $11. Super affordable, no need to rent a car. The hotel is close to a market to get groceries also. The hot breakfast is really nice and the eating area is nice too. This hotel is less than 3 years old so you can't really go wrong (it even smells new). We arrived at the hotel and were greeted by William; hubby and I don't think we've met someone as attentive as him; he showed us a map of the area of the area and recommended restaurants, markets, etc., while never appearing to be in a hurry. He took his time, and we could tell he was enjoying sharing his suggestions with us. We very much appreciated this. He made our first impression of this hotel a very welcoming one. William deserves 10 stars. The company is very lucky to have him on board. The others (2 ladies, different shift/day) were just ok. They did not go above and beyond. I guess we were spoiled on our arrival! There's only ONE thing we will complain about; the pillows. Soft as heck. Even 2 pillows on top of each other did not do the trick. They are so, so thin!!! We suggest the hotel invests a little in that area (we stayed 4 nights and got stuck with those). Overall, great experience!
