You have access to the whole unit as well as the shared back yard and front porch. The home is a duplex, so there is a shared wall between and a family lives in the unit next door.

Mid-City is known for its laid-back, friendly vibe and central location — you’ll be just minutes from City Park, The French quarter, the Canal Street streetcar, and local favorites like Bayou Beer Garden, Katies, and Mandina’s. With coffee shops, breweries, live music spots, and hidden-gem eateries all around, you’ll have everything you need within walking distance. It’s the perfect spot to relax, recharge, and enjoy New Orleans like a local.

For us (family of 3), we had a planned 2-day stop in New Orleans at the tail end of a family getaway to Gulf Shores, Alabama before heading home to Houston, Texas. This was our first time staying outside the French Quarter, and this place was perfect! I can't say enough about how lovely this place is. The interior decor says NOLA throughout with all the little touches. Plus, there is plenty of space to stretch out, a spacious kitchen with amazing coffee (per my hubby), great wifi, hot water in the showers, super comfy beds, and a full size washer and dryer. We felt safe and had no issues with on street parking. One night we walked to Bayou Wine Garden (everyone in your party must be 18), and the next night we took the Canal Street streetcar down to the French Quarter. The Canal Street stop is an easy 2 minute walk from this property. Overall, we had a spended stay. We will definitely be on the lookout for this property when we come back to New Orleans! (P.S. -- Le Pass App Tip: We bought a one day pass for each of us at 4.00. You can add multiple day passes on the same account within the app; however, the trick is to wait to activate each day pass until after you have purchased all the day passes you want. Then, go back and activate all the passes.)
