We were very happy with our stay at Maison St Charles. It was our first stay and we will definitely come back when visiting family the next time. Especially helpful was the staff and we want to thank Damien, night security, for his help with parking when we returned late in the evening. A few funny quirks but it's New Orleans. Happy it was clean, comfortable and had nice spaces to sit outside as well as a clean small pool.
The hotel needs some updating and rooms could be cleaner. It makes up for its charm, amenities, location and staff. The staff was accommodating and very pleasant.

Housekeeping employees continuously knocking on my door although I refused housekeeping at check in. I called front desk letting them know the situation. Information was provided to them and they continued to knock and a few of them stood outside my door and conversed extremely loudly while smoking. I was unable to get any rest along with the loud noise from the construction during the early mornings of my 3 day stay. I felt harassed, threatened and extremely uncomfortable. My staycation was to rest on my days off from work. Very disappointed!!!!😡😡😡
The Hostesses were outstanding. They made me feel welcomed at the hotel. I'm planning on staying there in the near future.

I was disappointed in my stay here. Especially with their fitness center. It lack sanitary wipes to wipe down the equipment with. However, when I requested it they sent some over. When I wiped down the yoga mat the sanitary wipe was all brown. The towels in the gym had stains on it. Lastly, the treadmill was unstable and leaning. The room walls had marks and stains on them. The tables were dusty.

when I asked for clean towels I was handed a stack and had to take them to my room. I expected them to be put in my room. I liked the room and the court yard was nice, I didn't use the pool, hot tub, or exercise room. When I checked out the girl that checked me out was very pleasant and asked if she could call me a cab.
Nice, clean room. Quiet and well located. Close to a streetcar stop. There is a wonderful oyster dinning place next to the hotel.
