This property is not accurately represented in the photos. It is in a serious state of neglect. The elevator was broken, the wifi was broken, the windows didn't open, the shower didn't work, and there was no air conditioning, just a fan coming through a vent. It looks like it hasn't been taken care of in decades. The staff were very nice. We forfeited our entire 4 nights stay after one night and went and paid for another hotel.

It was in a great spot but hard to get to because ocean st and was closed for the holidays. They say there is parking but you have to go to Colin’s street and it was 40 dollars a night. The room looked a lot shabbier than the picture and the bathroom walls can use a good cleaning

The staff was very friendly. We loved the antiquity odd of the place. We also had a room in the back, so it wasn’t noisy. We slept well. Is not a 5 start hotel, but it sure was nice.

We were aware of the elevator not working. We were placed on the 3rd floor and had to bring our own luggage up and down. The staff did not give towels for the beach as advertised. The staff was not helpful. The beds were hard and felt lumpy. The pillows looked like needed to be replace. I understand that you pay for what you get. I paid over 200 for one night. This wasnt an 80 dollar night.

The good: Location was great, across the street from the lummus park and the beach. Rooms were large overlooking ocean dr. And now the bad: No temp adjustment on the room, frigid cold temps in the room. Plumbing was a mess, no running water for a bit, toilets were plug which resulted in you waking to the end of the hall and collecting a communal plunger (they’re $5 at Home Depot, put one in each room if you can fix the plumbing issues. Check in was a nightmare, took several hours waiting despite arriving at check in time. Cannot access the hotel, they should mention ocean dr is closed permanently to vehicles so you have to get dropped off several blocks away and walk with your luggage.

The Room is very old, previous holes in the walls are very noticable, needs painting, floors dirty, no working batteries in remote, no working elevators, 40$ a day to park your car, cupboard doors in bathroom hold by barely anything. Not worth the money, very disappointed

We are very disappointed with the service during our recent stay. We stayed for three days and rented two rooms. Both rooms were located on the third floor, and the elevator was not working. We had to carry our luggage upstairs ourselves, and no staff member offered assistance. It did not appear that there was any urgency in addressing the elevator issue. Additionally, the air conditioning was not working in one of the rooms. The in-room safety box was also nonfunctional due to a dead battery. We reported this issue, but no one came to fix it during our stay. Housekeeping was another major concern. Our rooms were not cleaned at any point during the three days, despite placing the “Please Make Up Room” sign on the door daily and directly asking housekeeping staff we encountered in the hallway. We had to go to the front desk to request clean towels, and each time we were told they were unsure if towels were available. When we asked why the rooms had not been cleaned for two days, the front desk staff informed us that “room cleaning is not guaranteed,” which was both surprising and disappointing. Overall, the lack of basic service, communication, and responsiveness significantly affected our stay. We hope this feedback is taken seriously and addressed to improve future guest experiences.
