I booked this location for my daughter’s 21st birthday, and it was a complete nightmare. When we arrived, the gentleman at the front desk greeted us and took payment. As usual, I did a quick inspection of the room upon entry. I immediately noticed that the bed sheets were not clean. When I removed the cushion from the sleeper sofa, it was very clear the area hadn’t been cleaned—there were crumbs, bedbug droppings, and stains.
I went straight to the front desk to request that housekeeping come clean the room. When the housekeeper arrived, he pulled the sheets off the sleeper sofa, handed me fresh ones, and ran out the door without saying anything. Once the sleeper sofa was fully unfolded, I saw blood stains, more bedbug markings, and filth. The room also had a strong smell of mold and mildew—completely unsafe to stay in.
I returned to the front desk to request a refund, but they refused. I ended up having to call my bank and dispute the charges, including a resort fee they charged me even though I did not stay a single night at the hotel. I was later told the resort fee is “non-refundable,” which is unacceptable under these conditions.
To make things worse, another guest I spoke with was experiencing similar issues: moldy ceilings, bubbling walls, and a strong mildew odor. This is clearly not an isolated incident. This property is a serious health hazard and should be inspected by the state health department immediat
