Our number 1 hotel in Miami beach so far.

Second time I’ve stayed at the Riviera. Love this little boutique hotel. Great location. Lovely rooftop pool area. Good vibe. Cute bar on the property. Hotel does have a faint musty smell, but that’s very typical of hotels in Florida. Every every hotel I’ve stayed at in Florida has the same smell. Not a big deal for me. Other than that this place is very clean and that staff is top notch and on top of everything. Love the Riviera!

They assigned us a room that was already occupied, so when we opened the door it was a big surprise. We had to go back downstairs and ask them for a different room, which took another 30 minutes. Nobody went to clean the room or even bring clean towels. No service at all, the check out was the only fast thing. Besides that the pool was dirty and the restaurant offered expensive and low quality food.

Riviera is convenient and affordable place in Miami Beach. My past bad experience is that I left my AirPods in their room once and it was never recovered. During this check-in, I mentioned it to the staff member who claims that they have a lost and found now. This experience was brief. I needed to stay for the night with my 7 year old since we missed our flight and it was the last one for the night. All I needed was tv but there was no signal. Luckily I was able to get up on time. We checked in after midnight and and left at 5am. Areas of improvement: I believe there was a bartender that finished her shift that ignored my existence and interrupted my check-in to retrieve her ID. I found that to be extremely rude. Areas of concern: No one acknowledged my kid. South Florida is known for human trafficking, especially with children and I can see how easily children can slip into the cracks. I was also charged a $25 resort fee that could’ve been waived due to my short stay. I wish I had time to take advantage of the beach towels and chairs. But I was only there to rest for 4 hours. Overall, it’s a great place to stay to be close to the beach and the restaurant next door has great Cuban food.

Great place

I did enjoyed my stay here, yes I would go again But wish for alittle upgrade in proper explanation how to find my room

THEY CHARGE PER HOUR FOR LATE CHECKOUT, BASIC TV CHANNELS BEYOND SUBPAR MAYBE 2 WATCHABLE CHANNELS WHEN THE WEATHER DIDN’T KNOCK OUT RECEPTION (TYPICAL OF DIRECT TV) CLEANING STAFF ONLY BROUGHT TOWELS IF REQUESTED BUT, TAKES ALL THE OTHER TOWELS. ENTIRE PROPERTY INCLUDING POOL AREAS DEFINITELY REQUIRE RENOVATIONS. CAFE/RESTAURANT ON PREMISES FOOD WAS AWEFUL OVERPRICED AND BEYOND BASIC. YOU CAN HEAR THE CAFE MUSIC BLASTING THROUGH THE THIN WALLS DURING THEIR HOURS OF OPERATION. THE ONLY THING GOING FOR THIS PLACE IS LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. NEEDS A SERIOUS OVERHAUL.

Definitely Come Back !

Other than Floyd being amazing and his colleague. The room keys never worked it was an inconvenience having to go downstairs everyday to reset the keys. We did witness bugs in the rooms and Floyd tried to assist.the very next day their were roaches , I informed the receptionist of the situation and she did not place me in a different room . Furthermore , we did not receive room service all 3 nights this by far the worst. We went to a local CVS to purchase towels , the late night receptionist girls did not attend to our services were rude and just flirted with security.

Room was in a bad condition and cleaning crue didn’t even do an effort to fix it.

I've been to this hotel a few times, and always had a pleasant stay. The staff, Gaby, Amaury, and Bessy were very professional and treated me well. I would go back

Great hotel i will definitely visit again...Carlos and Amaury was great help!

AC kept shutting off all night and the next day. We called several times to ask to resolve this, it didn’t work. Room is dated and way overpriced. Loud people running around all night. Has a student hostel / frat house vibe. Big change from when we stayed 16 years ago and enjoyed it in the past. For $100 per night it would be ok, not $300 after the fees etc.
