Hotels with a Gym in Lower Garden District

"This hotel was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at in Nola! Pros: staff are AMAZING, hotel is clean, the breakfast is yummy, the beds are decent, the courtyard and amenities/games are awesome, pool was clean and towels were stocked, room (deluxe suite) is very spacious, the rooms kitchen is a definite plus, valet parking attendants are very quick and helpful if you’re looking for something in particular, VERY nice hotel for the price! Cons: the ambient street/traffic noise on Sat night was fairly loud in the room (just turned up our noisemakers to drown it out), the water pressure in shower was pretty low (if you have thick hair it will take a WHILE to get shampoo out), the water temp in shower changes after about 2min in, the valet parking is $47-50/night (there are close public parking lots tho), the little convenience store/pantry area next to the front desk was very slim pickings w/ quite a few bare shelves (I just DoorDashed what we wanted and kept in the rooms full size fridge). HOWEVER, all in all, the pros highly outweigh the minor knit-picky cons for this hotel. I definitely recommend the Sonesta Hotel and plan to stay here again next trip. "

"Could be cleaner "

"The hotel is outdated. The hallway smelled musty. The carpet was dirty. The beds are hard and extremely uncomfortable. The toilet ran my entire stay and kept me awake most nights. The curtains don't close so the room flooded with daylight and woke me each day earlier than necessary. The comforter was clearly worn and frayed. The walls were scuffed and/or stained in multiple places. The staff was nice, but this hotel needs a serious makeover and I wouldn't recommend it. "
