I'm a frequent guest since the hotel is located within walking distance of daughter's house. Staff is very friendly. Food in the adjacent restaurant is good. In 2 past reviews I have suggested a grab bar in the shower but still don't see one. This time I had the suite with a kitchenette. It was equipped fairly well. Since there was a sink to wash dishes, I would have liked real coffee cups instead of paper ones. The coffee is always good! It is always a pleasant stay.

We stayed on the 1st floor in the hotel and the rooms are very noisy from upstairs. I was woken up at 7:30 when people started to walk around. I think the floor is very thing. The hotel is old. The room is big and clean. They said we can use the swimming pool next door of the safari inn. But you will have to walk outside on the street in your swimming clothes. My advise is don't stay in the first or second floor. Just stay in the 3rd floor if possible.

I loved the central atrium which gave it a cool vibe for a relatively small hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was reasonable priced for the area it was in.

The traffic was so loud outside it kept me up both nights. It was so loud hearing cars and people outside. Major downside is the fire station nearby. Heard sirens both nights. Not staying there again for the high price

Close to Universal for cheap

We traveled as a family of 3 to visit Universal Studios and the beach. We were able to stay close without paying $500 a night. The hotel is clean and smells amazing right when you walk in. Easy check in, clean rooms, and I loved the large shower. We got two queens, the bed was comfortable. It also shares amenities with the Safari Inn next door, no hot tub but the pool was heated so we were able to swim even though it was only in the 70’s. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Amazing service, we absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The hotel staff was so sweet and accommodating. The shuttle service was amazing!! They dropped us off to universal and picked us up and even dropped us around the city. Truly loved staying here!

The property is overpriced for the condition. The furniture in the rooms is old and uncomfortable. The rug was absolutely disgusting. The lobby was not welcoming and not really that clean. Only one old elevator that was not working well and was not clean. The restaurant was not clean. Liked the location to Universal and shuttle but for the price it was not worth it.

Wonderful hotel

We were visiting during the wildfires and felt safe and secure at this hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is charming and very clean. We appreciated that there was free parking.

The hotel was clean and safe. I loved how close in proximity we were to Warner. Brothers Studios, Universal and downtown. We were able to get a shuttle from the airport for free and used the shuttle twice more in the 4 days we were there. The rest of the time, we needed to pay for Uber bc it was seldom available. That was disappointing but other than that it was a great stay! *my sister thought the mattress was too soft, I didn’t think it was horrible…
