What a gem! Conveniently located, steps from the museum and the staff was great!. The room was well appointed and breakfast was delicious. Sebastian checked us in and was very welcoming and attentive. Five stars!!

The staff were brilliant and really attentive. The hotel facilities, bar and room amenities were excellent. Location is brilliant, round the corner from the British Museum and a short walk to the West End. Docked one star, as the room was a bit too small to shoe-horn a big double bed into.

What a gem of a find! A last minute stay resulted in coming across Bertrand’s townhouse in a deluxe quarters and it was beautiful! I think it was the best nights sleep I’ve had in forever,great location,decor is really well executed and the rooms amenities were fantastic! Staff were more than helpful start to finish. We had plans for next Feb for my husbands birthday but they have now changed and we will be back for an extended stay!

Small room for a double and insufficient places to put stuff . Shower room very nice but a little too small and awkward . Noise of rock music rehearsal coming from building next door, morning , afternoon , night until 11 or 12 . Not horrendously awful but not great when paying 300 pounds a night . I must say the staff were very good and helpful .

The room was beautiful, I was a little worried when they said our room was in the basement but it was actually gorgeous and had loads of natural light coming in. Surprisingly large room as well, they looked smaller in the photos but maybe that was just the one we got. Really lovely friendly staff who immediately offered us some water when we arrived as it was a hot day. My one issue was the coffee machine. The pods weren't labelled so we didn't know if any were decaf. The machine also took ages to figure out, turned out it was stuck in a cleaning mode. Not necessarily the hotels fault though, just Nespresso machines. That's genuinely the only issue I could possibly find. Perfect stay, just wish we were there for longer.
