We have a private gate with direct access to the lake and miles of promenade for walking, biking, jogging, scootering (many bikes and scooters for rent nearby). We highly encourage taking advantage of this feature, as it is truly spectacular and inspiring scenery and fun for kids. The best times are early morning or late afternoon when it is cool. Please plan for this! Please note there is NO SWIMMING POOL.

This house has been luxuriously designed with rare traditional Javanese teakwood features and furnishings blended with a contemporary style. It is inspiring and serene. Many white fine fabrics, and is really not suitable for partying, drinking, after clubbing, massive sleep-overs, and many children. There are only 4 bedrooms, so not suitable for extra guests outside the bedrooms. Sleeping only in beds in bedrooms. Maximum number of overnight guests is 7. Additional fee for more guests.

There is space for a maximum of 5 cars total at our house: 3 in front of the house and 2 in our driveway.

You have access to the main villa during your stay. Over 7000+sq ft. On the ground floor, there are 2 main bedrooms - one is hexagonal shaped queen bedroom overlooking the lake with a spa style bathroom with massive solid stone tub and plants. Another queen bedroom has a teak tiled floor, wood panel and ensuite bathroom with onyx sink and pebble floor. There is another small bedroom with ensuite bath (no AC). 1 laundry room with washing machine and dryer, massive living + dining area with teak wood posts and 3 meter long rustic teak dining table; patio sitting and dining area; impressive kitchen with solid teak cabinets and counters; auxiliary dining/ conference/board game room off the kitchen, and a huge yard with a gate to the lake and miles of promenade. The ground floor has a large garden with direct access to the lake and promenade.

On the second floor, there is a traditional Indonesian (Limasan) villa, and extra sitting room. The Limasan Villa has a living room with a giant TV and another smaller sitting area, huge (1000 sq ft) lake view deck with spectacular view, 1 large lake view ensuite master queen bedroom; an ensuite bamboo bedroom with 2 bunk beds (4 beds). An amazing feature of the Villa is the 3rd level loft which is a breezy meditative space overlooking the beautiful lake. Please note that the house is suitable for 3 couples or several singles, but there are only 3 queen beds.

There is a separate apartment on the first floor towards the front of the house that is normally occupied by the host, but it is completely private and separate. It is to the right of the stairs on the first floor with large locked doors.
