The food is great. We did have to switch rooms twice. One had gnats swirling everywhere and a weirdly slow-draining sink. The next looked like I was walking in on someone’s used room. The third was the charm. The gal at the front desk checking in and helping sort out our issue had the most irritated affect. I assure you I am no “Karen” and asked very politely for help with our problem without any assumption on anyone’s part. Those issues are not the fault of the receptionist. She felt the need to mention she wouldn’t have given me a dirty room if the computer hadn’t had it marked “clean”. Maybe she had a rotten day otherwise. I don’t know. I likely won’t stay here again. I’ve stayed here before, so it was clearly good enough to stay again. It’s not a bad option. I simply will probably try something else next time.

The water was turned off one morning in the whole hotel so I was not able to shower, flush the toilet or wash my hands. Not good when I had a day of client meetings. At check out, the staff member brushed this off. I also asked for a receipt to be emailed to me and it was never sent.

Was treated every rudly.by valet park on g attendant - it wasn't clear where to leave car for valet and attendant ruined out check in ti say the least. Joey is his name w lots of tattoos - strongly suggest self work here customer service not important to valets.

We had just a quick 1 night stay but I was very impressed by the friendly staff, cleanliness of the rooms and facility. The restaurant had an amazing breakfast buffet and get servings for lunch also. A absolute must stay the next time we are in KC

Outdated hotel in need of much need overhaul. Front desk/check in person not friendly. Recently in Colorado last weekend and they were more friendly than here and that is disappointing because Colorado is typically worthless. Probably due to the fact that this location had more AA working and they tend to be less friendly to white people overall
