The staff was amazing! The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable! The famous burger place next door was delicious! The only draw back was the neighborhood... it was a little questionable at best... for that reason I'm Not sure we would return:(

I really enjoyed my stay here! I had never stayed in this area of KC before so was a little nervous, but the hotel felt very safe. I am incredibly cautious so probably wouldn't walk at night, BUT, it is walkable if you want to check out the bars, shops, and restaurants down the block. Right next door is a burger restaurant. Parking was maybe the easiest parking I have ever experienced. The hotel was clean and cute! Room and bed were very comfortable and clean.

Booked off of Expedia and was put in a king size room when we wanted two beds. We were then switched to another room, this time there was a plugged toilet. Finally we went to the third room and the bathroom did not have bath towels and the faucet fell off the sink.

Chappell in the house

We were there for the Chappell Roan concert. Didn't spend much time at the Hotel. It was clean and ready when we arrived early. Breakfast was amazing. Staff was superb. Was super close to the venue.

Our room had 3 areas with hangers in it. I know this is a weird complaint and but walking in it made it feel unorganized, chaotic and questioning how (if) it had been cleaned. There was an area by the iron which had several hangers. Across the "hall" there were another 4 or 5 hangers not very nearly hanging from some hooks on the wall. And there cherry on top was that there was a hanger hanging from the top of a framed picture on the wall. I took a few pictures but don't see anywhere here to upload. It just left me with questions. Also the wallpaper in the bathroom was dark blue and there were whole toothpaste spit spots on it and that's gross.

Great location, but if you get a room facing the bar next door don't expect to sleep through the night. You could hear music, bass, and people talking all night. The rooms are also dark, there isn't good lighting. One of the elevators are broken, and you're stuck waiting forever for the other one.

As soon as we got to our room the first day the floor was dirty we had to have them sweep it. Then we told them the refrigerator wasn't working they didn't do anything. The toilet wouldn't flush properly so in the second day they switched us rooms. The phone didn't work and they said the owner knew and was ok with it . Several floors the phones don't work and the owner said everyone has cell phones so it don't matter. We ordered food from the restaurant and they didn't have half the stuff for what we wanted so we settled for the bare minimum. On top of that we was told 20 minutes and our food would be ready and we waited over an hour. I paid almost $400 for 2 nights and then stay was absolutely horrible. We will never ever book with them again!

The hotel had ok facilities and service and an excellent location. Within walkable distance, there were many dining options and grocery stores. However, the building itself had a noise problem. Air conditioning water dripped continuously dropped on the outside part of window stool loudly. We requested to change room after the first night to find that the second room had the same noise problem. I'm surprised that no previous review mentioned this.

Nice, cute, clean hotel in a great location with free parking! A cheap Uber to our concert at Uptown Theatre. We did not have breakfast but it smelled good. For the price I was very impressed. Two things that could improve was the lady at check-in was very put out with us and the sweet couple behind us. We were also woke up twice starting at 8:00am with housekeeping knocking on and trying to open our door to clean which was frustrating.
