We stayed here before and was always a fair place to stay. Reasonable price, complimentary breakfast. Bad news: We had tickets to visit an event in Kansas City so we booked our room 3 months in advance. Check in is at 3pm. We arrived at 3:35pm and our room was not ready. Maintenance issue, minor we was told. We weren’t able to get another room and wasn’t able to get into our room until 4:05pm which made us late for our event that we had already paid for in advance. Our trip to Kansas City did not go as planned because we were not able to check in until an hour after the scheduled check in advertise. I would think they would compensate us for our lost. Oh well, that’s was our stay at the Comfort Inn.

The lobby was busy but the young lady was nice and attentive to each person. The tv needed to be programmed, she came right away. Then our door would not lock and she came right up to fix it, although she couldn’t she was getting help. Because of the distance of the repair person we were given another room. Now we did see a small roach, you might want to get on that. I must say there’s a great improvement from when we were here in February. On the north side of the building the light is out. Overall it was a nice place stop for a turn around.

We found out that the elevator ws down upon arrivg at 11:00 PM. Was given a room on th 3rd floor, which required carrying luggage up stairs. Upon speaking to manager thr next morning and inquiring about being given a discount, was provide with an upgrade to King Size room on 1st floor.

Usually don't leave many reviews, but I was extremely impressed with my 2 day stay here! My son and i stayed here for a chiefs game that was only 13min away from stadium (drove from Colorado). Easy access to highway. Room was very clean and stocked with necessities from multiple bath towels, hand towels, shampoo and conditioner, lotion, mini fridge, microwave, iron and iron board. Beds were comfy and sheets and pillows were clean and relaxing. Pool was well taken care of and delightful for cool splash off! Breakfast caught me by surprise offering biscuits and gravy with sausage patties, scrambled eggs, 3 types of cereals, oatmeal, fruit cups, yogurt, waffles, whole fruit, pastries, breads and bagels, 3 types of juices, milk, and coffee! This hotel exceeded my skepticism and would highly recommend to any and all. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area and so should you!!! Trust me on this review and book now! Thanks Comfort Inn!

The location was fine. Plenty of places to eat or get supies. There was mold in the bathroom and they air conditioner made everything in the room sticky. They was a sewer smell coming out of the bathroom sink that was really string.

Do yourself a favor and run

It had an overwhelming smell of Febreeze, which is awful considering I have asthma! The carpet just felt dirty, the floor was uneven in the entire room, bathroom floor needed to have grout filled in. Tv did not work at all! Although the lady that helped us at the front desk was very kind, having her dog jump on the counter as I was checking was pretty unprofessional. Overall very disappointed and will never stay there again.
