It was actually a nice place to stay. Within walking distance to the airport, and some good food places and a Safeway grocery store. However, the fact they charge extra for parking, is kinda of a turn down. Overall a good place though.

Hotel has some walkable convenience stores and fast food options like MCD and Starbucks. Staff was friendly. Hotel room was clean. Had some cracked shower tiles. Free breakfast was pretty standard, but great that it's complimentary. Had your usual American breakfast items. Wish it had some Hawaiian/local breakfast cuisine added. Overall, it satisfied my purpose of staying there - budget, good ratings, and close proximity to where I needed to go daily.

Booked this hotel for an employee traveling for me, and was charged a smoking fee. Called and spoke to manager, who advised we were charged for vaping, and that they have a sensor which it was reported on. I requested a copy of report but have not received. I actually have texts and photos of when my employee checked in regarding how gross the room was and how bad it smelled…. I’ve contacted customer relations for best western in hopes we can come to a resolution but now that I’ve seen some other reviews where the same thing has occurred with them I’m doubting any good result. The practice of randomly charging people a smoking fee that are not smoking in the rooms is absurd. I hope management does the right thing and refunds my employee.
