The property was beautiful and grand. Great view and access to the beach. The pool area was serene and the pool staff was very nice and attentive.

The hotel was very nice, but the room are small. It is not advisable for family. I traveled with my husband and son and the bathroom was so small so giving my son a shower is a struggle. The room was ok for solo traveler but if you are traveling with family, you will not like the regular room. The parking also is not connected to the hotel. I did 2 days self-parking but on the 3rd day, after doing activity, we are tired already so we used valet parking which is $10 more than self parking per day

Everything!

Loved the location and the classic property. Since our stay was during covid there was limited services. The hotel staff and resort did great with these limitations. My only real disappointment was the lack of food choices and minimal beach seating with chairs and shade.

I’ve stayed at this property before; I will again. It’s centrally located, everything you’ll need is on the property or within walking distance. I love it’s quaintness and the lack of crowds. It’s peaceful and rejuvenating.

Proximity to the ocean is awesome. We spent 4 hours at the historic Mai Tai Bar, eating, drinkkng, and watching the sunset.

Like the historic pink palace and the old Hawaiian feel. Didn’t like the tiny pool and the fact you have to pay to have lounges (since there are only a few free ones). And they aren’t even comfortable!!

The hotel is right in the middle of everything. The staff was awesome.

Nice stay! Wonderful place to stay!! Loved the classes too!!

Beautiful hotel on the beach Carved wooden doors Upgraded to a spacious suite Helpful and friendly staff Slight moldy smell in the room

Beautiful hotel with a lot of history. Excellent service from staff. The beach is public, but they have 2 private pools. Restaurants are very good, but pricey, every meal seemed to cost $100 for 2 of us. Nice, upscale shops.

The staff is excellent and consistent. They really are top notch. Much more of the caliber of a 4 seasons than your typical Marriott property. By far the best location on Waikiki and the only Waikiki property with legitimate grounds and gardens ... it provides a welcome bit of peace and solitude. It's fun being sandwiched between the Rodeo Drive of Hawaii and the shimmering aqua waters and golden sand of Waikiki beach. The rooms are simple but the views (both of the gardens in the historic wing and of the Pacific from the modern tower) can't be beat. They are also 100% modern and always exceptionally clean. I wish the pool was bigger with more lounge chairs, but that's my only real request.

The hotel itself is beautiful. You enter the historic property surrounded by lush topiary and are greeted with an authentic lei. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a gorgeous courtyard in the center of the hotel. The pool is a little small but they have a relationship with a nearby hotel that has a much nicer, larger pool and water slide. That said, it is difficult to find available lounge chairs at either location, as most of them must be rented. The restaurant leave something to be desired as well, as the food/drink is overpriced and mediocre.

The location was fantastic. Just nestled away in a quiet surrounding, but still in the heart of all the action and fun.
