Located in the heart of the Latin quarter next to many cafes and restaurants. Josh, the person who helped us with the checking in, was very helpful. Cars cannot get to the front of the hotel but a parking garage is located next to the hotel with a reduced rate for the hotel guests.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Our room was comfortable. Unfortunately we were there on a bank holiday weekend and it was very loud until very late. The next night was very quiet as the bank holiday was over. It was in a good location. The parking facility was right be it and they offer a discount on overnight parking. Having the bar with food downstairs was handy.

The customer service was excellent! We felt welcomed everytime we walked back into the lobby. I loved the fact that the M. Fitzgerald was immediately accessible from the lobby. You could hear the music from the room, but it was not loud. The room was clean, the housekeeping staff were very kind, and the place was just a treasure.

Great location if you are looking to explore the local attractions of Galway City. We only stayed one night and it worked out great; however the space works best for 1 or 2 people if you are looking for a longer stay. We traveled with our 4 year old and this property wouldn’t have been the best for a longer stay in our opinion. The double windows were great for giving us the option of taken in the local sounds and music but shutting it all out when we were ready for bed. Truly appreciated that feature.

Room was small and you definitely could hear the music until 2 AM, in the first floor rooms. They provided ear plugs which weren’t quite enough, our friends on the second floor did not hear the music however. The location was great and I would stay here again but bring better ear plugs… lol.
