Galway city is difficult to drive around, better to stay a little out of the centre and enjoy the comfort. Lovely room, very good breakfast and parking at the door. We walked to the nearby bus-stop and went into the city, this was very easy. We walked around the corner to a very good local restaurant for diner. It was very convenient.

We stayed here for 2 nights, and enjoyed it. The room is a bit small, but cozy, more than enough for 2. The breakfast is great, choice of continental or cooked. Very friendly and helpfull staff. A nice deck to enjoy fresh air. The only thing missing is a shelf in the bathroom to put your stuff, otherwise it’s very nice.

Absolutely loved our stay at Rusheen Bay. Location was excellent - right beside Salthill and Galway. Room was lovely with all the amenities you'd expect and the ensuite was very clean and had a good shower. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. The section at breakfast was so good and lots to choose from including a cooked breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Rusheen Bay House was our first night's accomodations in Ireland. We had flown all night, then drove to the Cliffs of Moher before driving to Galway in the hope of checking in a getting a nap. Our hosts were very friendly, offered dining suggestions, and showed us to our room which overlooked the bay. After 40 winks, we were refreshed, and had a fantastic dinner in town. The next morning, we had a made-to-order breakfast in their sun room (a glassed-in porch attached to their sitting room) before heading to our next stop. The hotel was great, the room was very nice, and the hosts were wonderful.

Overpriced. The bread at breakfast was moldy. ( apparently because of the heat it was said) The tinned fruit, (peaches) had white spots and the syrup was cloudy ?? But the worse bit was when pulling sheets from the bed the morning we were leaving and finding a big round yellow stain on our top bed sheet. The sink in our ensuit was so small it was something you might find in a spare toilet 20 years ago. There was one window facing a gable wall of the nextdoor house so close I could almost touch it. In summary it was overpriced, bad quality breakfast, pokey attic room and the worse bit was the dirty bed sheets.. To be avoided

Full disclosure we do not typically stay at B&B's. The Rusheen Bay House was fine place for us to sleep at the end of the day but never felt comfortable enough to hang out there during the day. The rooms were a little dated, parking was a challenge, and its several miles from the main part of Galway. They have two cats which is kind of interesting. My wife is allergic so we opted on eating at other places for breakfast.

Couldn’t have had a more hospitable and welcoming stay. Ann the owner is a credit to herself and her b&b. Very close to Galway city also, great facilities within the premises also. And reasonably priced rates.

Located by the sea, Rusheen Bay House is in a great spot only a short drive from Galway City. The B&B itself is good. The rooms are basic, but with everything you need for a night or two. Ann, the owner, is wonderful. We were offered a complimentary continental breakfast during our stay. Unfortunately I left a jacket at the property and was unable to return to collect it before flying to Italy. Ann generously offered to post the jacket to my relatives' home for me to receive. Ann, thanks so much. I couldn't have asked for better service!

We had a setback on our journey and couldn´t make it to Galway on time. I cannot be grateful enough with the owner who was super understanding and cancelled my booking eventhough it was high season and we didn´t respect the 48 hours cancellation policy. THANK YOU. I know this was a total exception but it gives me a good idea of her human value.

Nice b&b on bay- small room, wonderful breakfast, close to public bus to town. Ann the owner is very accommodating and pleasant. She has great pride in her business The views from property are beautiful- nice neighborhood. Lots of places to walk and tour
