Stayed on a Saturday night for a wedding which took place in a different venue. Got a great deal on this hotel on booking.com with late check out and great breakfast included. Check in staff were extremely nice and helpful. There was a power outage when we arrived and the hotel was using back up generator, however the water was to be out for some time. Check in staff were so professional in explaining this when we checked in and repeatedly apologized although it was not their fault at all! We were so impressed! Bottled water was soon dropped to our room for brushing teeth etc which was also a nice touch. Hotel was modern and clean, rooms quiet and pool very nice although the jacuzzi was out of order. We would definitely stay here again and it was truly the excellent staff that stood out - they were so professional and positive.

Arrived here around 15.00 hrs after the wedding ceremony. Greeted with a very friendly and welcoming lady at reception and checked smoothly. Went up to our room which was spotless and very big with one double and two singles. The whole place smelled fresh and new. New carpet s has been installed. Went down to the bar and were greeted with a delicious chocolate fountain. Mulled wind and champagne were freely available with nibblies of salmon/ chicken/dimsims/ kinda like tapas. The wedding meal was served with precision The maitre D was like an air traffic controller , with a very discreet 2 way comms system. The steak and salmon was delicious and second helpings were offered. Nice selection of deserts. All in all a very delightful experience Won’t highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for a night at start of October, lovely bar and bar food, mixture of great staff and okay staff. Breakfast lovely, swimming pool and amenities very good, would recommend. Room was nice and easy check in.

This hotel is perfectly situated between Galway City and Co.Clare. It has been recently refurbished and is relatively modern. Breakfast isnt the best but the main restaurant serves the most delicious meals that i have tasted in a while. Staff are friendly and helpful. The pool is a lovely commodity but the changing rooms need refurbished. Special thanks to Aisling and Roisin who allowed me to upgrade to the bridal suite for me and my fiancees engagement anniversary.

Stayed here for a wedding. Would recommend this hotel, food was amazing at the wedding with service second to none. The beef was amazing. Our double room was lovely as it is newly renovated. I would however note how cold it was in our hotel room and had no success making the temperature higher. When I visited the bridal suite it was extremely cold there also. Might be something since the renovations that hasn't been sorted. Other than that, would highly recommend this hotel.

Was at this hotel for a wedding. The hotel went above and beyond for the wedding, five stars for the wedding, excellent day was had by all but reception are incompetent. Prebooked the room on a card in my name, but when I tried to get into room, well the ringlet haired receptionist needs some training and manners, let's put it that way! She mustn't enjoy her job! There was rubbish in the room that had not been left by us so I can only assume it didn't get much of a clean between the last occupants and us. The bathroom looked like something from a hospital but even hospitals have shower curtains or similar! Room was spacious and comfortable but there was only one chair so if there had been room service, one of us would have to sit on the floor or stand!! All plans went belly up on the morning of checkout as I spent three quarters of an hour minimum running up and down the stairs and queuing to get the room card activated to get into the room - three room cards later and the cleaning staff let us in!!!!! Oh and I didn't have to answer as many questions at reception to gain access to my room that morning! Because of the room card fiasco, we were a tad late checking out and while breaking our necks trying to get things together, reception rings to see if we are checking out!!!! Not worth the money we paid at all.

Had lunch today and was served by a very friendly girl who arrived with menus. My fish and chips was delicious crunchy flaky fish excellent salad well presented chips . The beef stir fry was delicious served with tasty rice. Both mains were very filling. We shared rhubarb crumble it was very well presented and very tasty to the very good pasty chef thanks.2 coffees finished a very relaxing lunch in a lovely hotel with very nice background music. Will be back.

We spent 3 nights here during the first week of September. When we arrived at the hotel, Galway were in the middle of the All Ireland Final, the atmosphere was as you can imagine, fantastic. We were quickly checked in. Our room was huge, really modern and the beds were really comfy. Only downside was the bathroom, although fine, is in need of an upgrade. Our room was directly across from the door leading to the pool. The pool was fab, water really warm, changing rooms had play pens in both the mens and womens which was handy when you are trying to co ordinate small ones. Breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice and availability, no pancakes unfortunately. We had dinner here on 2 evening, and the portions were huge and the food was fabulous, very tasty and very reasonably priced. There was a book stand with children's books on our hotel room floor which our children loved. The hotel itself is about 20 mins from the city, which was perfect. When we returned home we realised we had forgotten our baby's monitor, which she cant sleep without the music playing, I rang the hotel and they posted the monitor the following morning, express post, we had it the next day. they could not have been more helpful. We visit Galway often, and will definitely stay here again and would recommend to our friends

We had a family christening party in the hotel last Sunday & everyone complemented on how great the food was...which it was 👍🏻 great selection, portion size & hot 👍🏻 there was a Wedding fair on in the hotel the same day so I was anxious about service but Niall & the team were most attentive & catered to all our needs swiftly & efficiently. They were very friendly & regularly checked that everything was OK. As there were a number of other parties there I did feel there wasn't a need for loud music as it made it hard to talk to each other. But Niall sorted it & turned it down straight away on request. There was a very thoughtful christening gift for the baby from the hotel which I thought was a lovely touch. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a venue for a party. Thanks again to staff & management.

Room was fantastic and obviously done up since our last stay.. Bathroom on other hand was a big let down. Tatty wood / yellow grout / remains of some stick on items on tiles. Sink was cracked also. Bathroom put me off to the point where I didn't wish to shower. Unsure weather I would stay again.
