Amazing location and views! Some advice though.

First the positives: Amazing million-dollar views of Galway Bay- 180 degree views, jaw-dropping- makes everything worth it. Even has patio. Spacious, beautiful place- pictures are accurate. Great location 5mins from Quay St and on Galway Bay. Around the corner from Long Walk and Salt Hill Some caveats: Check-in is at casino about 6mins walking away. If you have luggage, we had 1 rolling bag and we were walking from the bus station, I would advise that some members of your party might wait at Jury's Inn with your bags while you get the key and return. Otherwise, you would all walk there through some cobblestones and then backtrack. You have to leave a deposit of roughly 250euros - I'm hoping to get it back on my cc as I left the place in excellent condition. This is not specific to this apartment but I believe it is general to all apartments in Ireland - you need to turn on hot water heater when you arrive or you won't have hot water for first few hours. Overall memorable stay because of the views, condition, and location of apartment and I would rent it again.

Beautifull but needs attention !!!

The room was only available at 7 pm at night. we had to go get the key in a different location and drop it back. The person cleaning the room only took an hour for a big appartment its not much scrubbing. the closets were full of laundry in blue bags, dont know if they were clean or dirty draps. we could not access the washer and dryer because of those blue bags. the beds were not very confortable. too bad it's a nice big appartment with a beautifull view and a big porch. it would need more attention from the owner.

Amazing accommodations but

Awesome place but horrible directions on how to find the apartment and enter the building. We wasted one hour walking around aimlessly..... but the apartment was lovely.

City that never sleeps

Would not recommend. Galway is a dingy crowded city. The check in process stopping at a casino was very strange. The apartment itself was beautiful but check in process was not relayed well. The apartment building is right next to a park and people would sit out all night long and so sleep was difficult with all the noise.

This is a beautiful apartment in an ideal location. The view from the penthouse is amazing and the apartment is very spacious. However, a little closer attention to detail and maintenance would make this rental perfect. There were many lightbulbs out, fridge door broken, we could not get the heaters to stop heating (despite calling for assistance). We had to call and ask for towels, as we only were given 2 for 4 people in a 2 bedroom apartment. They did bring them to us though. My biggest complaint is the check-in process. They need to explain how to get into the apartment from the garage and explain how to get to the apartment more appropriately. They said to park in the garage with an orange gate and the gate was black. They did not tell us that we had to go into a building to find entrance to apartment, etc...

A Galway Gem

This amazing apartment with a fantastic view of the sea, was a perfect family escape in Galway! A few minute walk right into city center and then come back and enjoy the view from the deck. Would love to come back!

More like Air BnB

Read carefully..its more like an Air BnB plus you have to pay a 200 Euro deposit. You must check-in to a casino 10mins away to get keys. We got there and took forever to figure out where the casino was. Once we got the keys and the directions on how to use the keys and which doors it was still confusing. Tried calling but after nine no one answered. Would be nice to get written directions with better map. Residents had to help. However, two big beds and lovely rooms. Washer and dryer a bit old and took awhile to dry clothes but was super handy to have. Great view, quiet location yet close to downtown area.

Beautiful view. Great location. Comfortable.

Two bedroom, two bathroom condo with all the amenities including huge outdoor terrace with gorgeous harbor views. Very clean and comfortable. Walking distance to the Spanish Arch and great restaurants. We did takeaway in order to enjoy the terrace and view. Hard to find as Expedia has the wrong location on its map. Need to pick up keys at the 4Aces Casino on 20 Dominick St. Once we cleared that all up the stay was fantastic. Will definitely book again.
