We love the Galway Bay Hotel, beautiful inside, very nice restaurants , beautiful sunroom looking out at the ocean. The Promenade is just out the front door. We took a wonderful sunrise stroll and enjoyed the view. A short walk of about 25 minutes to Quay st.

Very nice hotel. Clean and very friendly staff. Multiple restaurants to choose from onsite. Walkable into Galways Latin area in around 40 minutes. Bus stops right in front of the hotel.

The staff are the heart of this hotel, always smiling and yet professional. Our sea facing room was lovely and was well serviced. Linens were clean and of good quality. Another armchair would have been a welcome addition. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The menu items were very rich for me, but my dietry needs were met well by the kitchen staff. Places to sit and relax were comfortable, but very often full up so we didn't get to experience those. An easyvwalk into Galway town for those that can do that, there's a bus stop outside the hotel or taxis are available. What would have improved our experience was a toilet brush and more thorough cleaning of the toilet, limescale seems to be a problem and another armchair in the room. Both the Restaurant and the Bistro are good places to eat.
