Really liked the breakfast and dinner options. The bar area and restaurant are beautiful and the staff friendly. Our room was spacious and clean. The bathroom lacked space for our things, with the only sink being a small pedestal style sink- no counter space. The room was quiet when the window was shut, but when open you could hear street noise. There is no AC, so the room can be warm in the Summer months, especially if you need to close the window to gain some quiet.

We stayed in the penthouse apartment. This was a real treat. It was stunning with a great kitchen, lots of space for everyone and comfortable beds. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book this again.

First great location, secondly staff brilliant, third the underground car park. Refurbing front door, was inconvenient but not the worst. The bathroom was a little dirty. It can be very noisy (even on 4th floor)

Excellent stay at the western on quick 2 day trip to Galway. Centrally located, comfortable, pleasant basic hotel. Super friendly staff, helped secure a fan as weather was very warm and no AC. Convenient parking below hotel.

We arrived in Galway for our two night stay there. Weather was warmer than usual so a fan was brought to the room. Tub was quite high to get in and out of.no walk in shower Breakfasts were very good . Bar was enjoyable as well and a great location.

The Room was incredibly warm and humid, despite the hallway and outdoors being significantly cooler. Window didn’t open more than a cm, bathroom fan didn’t work— creating a very unpleasant warm and humid bedroom. Black mildew on shower curtain, towels felt cheap and hardly dried. Building also going through a renovation which was not made known to us until arrival. Day two of our stay had the strong smell of spray paint and our room even smelled of it into the wee hours of the night. Certainly will not be staying here again!
