Great place with great staff. You can walk to everything from here. Highly recommended

We had a two bedroom two bath apartment. Clean and modern, it was also well located for walking around Galway. Friendly helpful employees, and delicious breakfasts. Beautiful view from the rooftop deck!

This hotel is well located near Eyre Park in Galway. We were a close walking distance from Quay street where the bars, pubs, restaurants, and shops are. Parking at the hotel was terrible. There is an underground car park where barely 10 cars can fit so you need to leave your keys at reception because you will undoubtedly be double parked and they will need to move your car. The rooms were ok. We had no air conditioning.

It is an old style bare minimum hotel wil a bed in each room. Mattresses were soft, no amenities, no aircon and noisy if you open the windows, confusing layout befitting a 1950s hotel. Helpful staff. Parking was a challenge as it was filled to the brim. most basic amenities only. Old carpet, musty rooms. Well past its prime. Not trying to be "ugly American" but would be a AAA two-star hotel.

We only stayed overnight, but we enjoyed the time we spent there.

Hotel is clean, room was small but very comfortable, staff extremely gracious. Perfect location close to the square and pedestrian mall but far enough to sleep well with the window open.

Close walk to pubs. Parking is a bit of a disaster but there is a night person to play Tetris with your car and move it out.

This hotel has a great location near all of the main shops and restaurants in town. The free parking is located in the basement of the hotel, which was great. Parking seemed to be very limited in this busy part of town, so this was a very nice feature and it is easy to get your car out when leaving.

The four of us shared a room at the Western and it was surprisingly spacious and comfy (two twins and one double). Upon arrival, our initial room had not been cleaned yet so we notified staff immediately. They were apologetic and embarrassed...got us sorted into a clean room right away. Breakfast was also lovely. Great location, decent price - would stay again!

We arrived pretty late and only had one night here, but we wished we had more time at this wonderful place. The location was ideal, the breakfast superb, and the staff was most helpful. Could 't have been better.

Centrally located near city center and within walking distance to shops, restaurants etc. Clean and comfortable room and bath. Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Had a great breakfast as well. Breakfast and car parking included in room price -- great deal! Overall, a good quality and comfortable stay with a clean, spacious bedroom and bath. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is a very short walk, about 3-5 minutes, to JFK Park and all the bars, restaurants, shopping, etc. The hotel is old, but updated and very charming. The rooms appear to all be different. We had a fake fireplace and an oil painting in our room. The staff is very friendly, parking is free, an excellent breakfast is free and they gave us a coupon for something like a bottle, of wine, two 3 course meals for 38 euro. And the food was good! I would stay here again

The stay far exceeded my expectations. We arrived early, well ahead of check-in time and hoped to just leave our luggage with the hotel unitl our room was ready. Instead the attendant at the desk offered us an apartment suite for our entire weeks stay at our same rate. This was the most wonderful vacation as a result.

Location was good-right in Galway city. Older hotel-doors lock after midnight and I had to stand outside banging on the door and ring the doorbell for someone to answer they should have told us this when we arrived. Very tiny rooms, two single beds maybe a foot apart? Cramped. Bar was nice and breakfast came with the room which was nice.

The compact entry and registration area belies the strengths of this hotel. Room are spacious, well-lit, with larger barthrooms. Halls are multi-leveled and have twists and turns, as many hotels Irish and European cities do...only adds to the charm. Parking is under the hotel, with valet if desired. Pub is pretty, restaurant breakfasts extremely delish and generous. Had a fourth floor room with a fantastic view and clean, crisp breezes. Staff helpful to the degree that the young lady at registration walked us to the door to ensure we knew the road needed. Location is on the cusp of all wonderful bits of the walkable and friendly city.

Best water pressure I have ever experienced (in a Hotel or anywhere else)!! Large Bathroom. Good irish breakfast. Pub right down stairs. Another great pub right down the street that has excellent food and traditional music called Au Pucan.

Very clean and spacious room. Twin beds were comfortable. The view from our room was bad, out the back of the hotel, the only negative. Free parking, free internet and a good free breakfast. Within walking distance of town.

Perfect location (just up the street from the downtown area). Good price for a large room. Great service. Good Irish breakfast included with room.

We stayed one night before a tour of the western part of Ireland. We arrived by train and the hotel was about a 10 minute walk from the station (same for bus arrival). We got there before the designated check in time and were able to drop our bags at the front desk so as not to have to carry them with us that morning while shopping. Breakfast was excellent, choice of fruits and cereals along with traditional Irish fare. Staff very friendly.

Great location. Nice set up for families. Free on site parking is nice. Breakfast was really good!
