Arrived at hotel to an upgrade which was fabulous as we had already received a great deal on interconnecting rooms. The rooms themselves were great, everything we needed. There is no doubt that the hotel is old but it actually really works. Somethings like the baths and showers could be upgraded but were still fine and in perfect working order. Ate in the bar, food was lovely and well priced. Breakfast was great. Check-in and -out were seamless. Staff so friendly. Pool area was lovely and everything very clean. Only negative was the games room for the older kids, no pool cues or table football. Staff member said they 'should be in room or somebody took them'. Maybe something they could improve on, such as maybe having spares? All in all, a wonderful stay.

Stayed here recently as part of the Wild Atlantic Way Cycle Sportif. The hotel looked after us very well, food and facilities were excellent. They are located just a few miles from galway city with plenty of parking.

Just returned from a 3 night break which included breakfast and dinner. On arriving at reception we were informed that we had been upgraded to a superior room - nice start to our break. The room was bright and airy and overlooked the sea, bed was very comfortable and room had large TV with numerous channels, trouser press and tea/coffee making facilities. There was an excellent menu at both breakfast and dinner and the food was some of the best we have had on our travels. The hotel has a great swimming pool and leisure centre where you can relax after a day's touring. The staff in all parts of the hotel were very efficient and super friendly which made our stay so great. Cannot fault anything about the hotel and would recommend it to anyone. Looking forward to my next visit!

Felt like I was at home. We spent 3 nights at the Hotel Everyone was so so friendly and helpful . Rooms was so comfortable . Beds were also comfortable . Views of Galway Bay were remarkable . We walked down to the water every evening after dinner We had breakfast and dinner at hotel ,and every one was fantastic . The pub in the Hotel was also a plus. We had relatives meet up we us one evening and we had an amazing time . They had live music as well You will love it here. We will definitely return

This is a charming hotel. Rooms are lovely, complimentary toiletries, all facilities and amazing staff. Checked in by lovely reception members, food and bar staff friendly and accommodating. But extra thanks go to the spa staff. My father is in a wheelchair and we were able to take him right to the pool. As mum and I were helping him in, a member of staff who was in the pool rushed over to help. He assisted us greatly in the pool and getting dad up to the sauna. It then got better as he and another staff member helped us outside to the hot tub overlooking the bay. They didn't have to do this and sadly I didn't get their names. It absolutely made our holiday as dad had not been in the water for over 2 years. Great to be able to take my dog too who had a ball running over the rocks on the beach and sitting outside in the gardens. Absolutely cannot fault anything and highly recommend. Can't wait to go back! Thank you.

We spent two nights here as part of a group. Beautiful room. Food and service in bar area was great. Staff there were wonderful. Dinner in dining room with our group offered good food but the service was lacking. They seemed overwhelmed and ill prepared although they were told long ago of our reservations for dinner. Otherwise staff and hotel were good. Beautiful ground.

This is my second time at the Connemara Coast Hotel and I remain as impressed as with the first time. I brought a group of 42 this time and all were impressed with this property. The beauty of the surroundings, the attitude of the staff at the desk and the restaurants, the cleanliness and the delicious food, make this a fabulous spot for a relaxing vacation. I want to commend the following front desk associates: Audrey, Grace, Ashleigh for their diligent work and smiling faces even after back to back shifts. Helena a server at restaurant, and her team of servers, were always ready to serve all my group's needs. There is one associate that deserves a particular mention. That is Mark, the Manager on Duty during the second night of our stay. Not only did he set up a room for our group to watch the Quiet Man movie, but he also set up a projector and a screen for us. Upon finding out that our lap top would not have the appropriate equipment to show the movie, he cam back with his own lap top to make it happen for us. Mark is an exceptional associate who persevered in giving the best customer service to my group. I was truly impressed hoe he handled us, in addition to other issues he was handling at the same time. A true manager! Multi-Tasker! Mark is to be commended! Great job everyone!

This was generally not a bad hotel but was dragged down completely by the fact that on our first morning there the water from the taps was a disgusting murky brown colour. When I complained at reception I was told that this was a problem with the local water supply and that happens when it rains. I was also told, in quite a blasé manner, that it was harmless.

Excellent services sent two days and it was excellent; the rooms and food were of extremely high standard and would highly recommend; staff were extremely professional and were very kind; would highly recommend this hotel to everyone

Lovely place to stay and to eat! The fresh sea food is really good and the staff are very friendly!! The views are lovely but the weather wasn't good when we visited so we couldn't make the most of the area
