Great property and location but could benefit from an update. We stayed here two nights as we traveled around Ireland. The room was very good sized, the bed was very comfortable, and the room and property were always very clean. The hotel is cute but looks like it could use small updates to truly capture its theme. We ate breakfast at the restaurant two mornings and found the food to be very good quality with a nice selection of items on the breakfast bar in addition to the customized hot meals. We also ate in The Pins restaurant one evening and really enjoyed the pizza and dinner salads. The entire staff was very helpful and friendly. Even without updates we would stay here again!

Great stay for a quick visit to Galway. A bit far if you're planning to spend most of your time in Galway City (had to wait a bit for taxis, buses weren't too frequent) but the village area was lovely and more quiet. Blackthorn restaurant was so delicious! Rooms were a little dated but still very comfortable and clean.

The hotel was nice and offered something a little different. The staff were mixed, some were excellent but others seemed to do the minimum they could get away with, mainly in the restaurant. However the breakfast staff were excellent as was the food

Fantastic stay at a wonderful hotel. There was everything we needed for our stay and the staff were very efficient and helpful. Room was spacious and well equipped with a super comfortable bed. Breakfasts were excellent and a wide choice of both cold and hot food made to order. The recommendations from staff were really helpful in regards to some local areas to visit and using the bus service into Galway. Would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate staying again. Thank you for making our stay so memorable with the ‘Happy Birthday’ message and sweet treat for my husband when we arrived.

Great hotel for a Galway visit

Great hotel with wonderful customer service and a delicious full breakfast. Nice and quiet. Great area but the taxi ride to the center of town was about 15-20 minutes. Would definitely stay there again. Be sure to have dinner at O’Gradys on the pier which is a short walk away. Fabulous!

The hotel was is beautiful. The tiny touches make it feel special. We stayed in a king suite which was a luxurious space and very large with a couch and a bar space. Our room came with breakfast which was delicious. We also ate at the restaurant which is good with plenty of great beer options. The only point lost was our cable didn’t work due to the wire coming out of the wall. The staff working that night tried their best and made a quick fix, but with so much attention to detail I was surprised by the error. Would absolutely stay again.

Nice hotel

We enjoyed our three night stay at The Twelve hotel in Barna. We decided to try staying outside of Galway and used bus and taxi to get in and out of town. The hotel is very nice. The room is spacious (we had a King suite). The morning breakfast was excellent. While Barna was not particularly walkable, we were able to take the city bus both into Galway to explore the city and take an excursion to the Cliffs of Moher, as well as to the ferrys to Aran Islands. Staff was professional and helpful, printing out the bus timetable for us.
