the room was nice but because of the hotel's location it is very noisy. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is not the place for you. the staff is nice and the day manager Ian was very helpful with our account but it's difficult to get in the garage, there isn't a lift from the garage to the lobby or to the rooms so you have to carry your bags up the stairs. Also people are coming and going at all hours of the night and slamming their room doors. No AC but a fan was provided. So many people that we couldn't even sit in the restaurant for the breakfast.

Hotel is in a terrific location, right next to the start of the pedestrian thoroughfare at the heart of Galway's restaurant, pub, shopping and night life area. On the other side is the river. If you can get a river view room, the view is lovely. One note of caution -- it was unseasonably warm for a few of the days I was there, and in the afternoon, the room actually became too hot. Otherwise, the executive room was spacious, with nice furnishings and a great view of the river.

The hotel is literally steps away from the Latin Quarter, which is all the bars and restaurants. I highly recommend staying here, it is an easy walk to everything!

We had a triple overlooking the river- absolutely beautiful! Everyone at hotel was terrific & made our stay perfectly wonderful.

Clean hotel located right in the center of everything. The hotel has nice views of the water. Parking is adjacent and requires 10 euro. Given the location, there is quite a bit of noise late in the night. We considered the convenience worth the extra noise.

The hotel is in a great location, close to shopping, food, and historical sites. It's about a 10 minute walk to the train or bus station.

Great location for the price. The parking is right next to the hotel and it was a bit hard to find.

The hotel is in a great location. It is an easy walk from the hotel to restaurants and attractions.

Steps from many bars shopping spanish arch and also a view of the river. Would stay again

Hotel was situated on a hill...Not a far walk from city center but the hills steep

Great location and the overall experience was positive but I was disappointed by the attentiveness and attitude from the staff on a few occassions.

Nice hotel in a perfect location to see the sights of Galway. However, the service was lax in the off-season. My room was never cleaned during my 2-night stay. Despite being out of the room from 8:30am-415pm and the hotel being less than half full, my room was not serviced. Maid came by about 445 when I was resting and shoved a "we couldn't clean your room due to do not disturb" flyer under the door. When I mentioned to front desk, they told me I should have called to have room cleaned. Why should I manage their schedule rather than them just coming during the nearly 8 hours I was gone?

I spent one night at Jury's Inn at Galway. The hotel is clean and located at the end of the main shopping street at the mouth of a small river and close to bay. Location was very good - it was possible to dive into the shopping area within 30 seconds after leaving the hotel or go other way to watch swans on the river and some ocean birds and at the same time it was very quiet. Hotel may consider some improvements. For example, window could not be opened in my room, room did not have refridgerator, there was a special receptacle for 110 V electric shaver, but I was not able to insert the plug. Small things, but can add a drop of black into otherwise a bright image.

The inn does not provide facecloths. It was very difficult to find the inn.

Centrally and conveniently located in Galway; can walk or easily get bus or train when needed. Average in other ways. Restaurant below average. We enjoyed our 5 day stay and would visit again.

We only stayed one night, but we wish we could have stayed longer. We were met by the friendliest of staff and were able to check right into our very spacious, comfortable room. We had a car, which we were able to park overnight very near the hotel for just 10 euro. We were walking distance from the Spanish Quarter, which was a lively, exciting area. We were hesitant to book here because it is a chain and in general, we were looking for more of a mom-and-pop B&B situation, but we were very happy with our accommodations and will look to stay at other locations of this hotel again in our future travels.

The staff was gruff during checkin and checkout. We didn't appreciate the extra charge for wifi when we were already paying more than we had for any other room during our vacation.

Nice hotel, great location. Decent pub on-site. Free-wifi would be nice, especially in lobby. Some rooms have river view. Staff could be be more knowledgeable about local sites and activities. Overall, I would definitely recommend Jurys Inn Galway.

Nice, clean hotel, great location friendly staff, I would stay there again & recommend to friends.

The location is perfect...the coolest street in Galway. One problem is the water restricter installed on the toilet which is supposed to conserve water, but instead stops the toilet from flushing. You have to keep flushing the toilet, thereby wasting water instead of saving it. We had to fill the waste basket and dump the water to flush the toilet. But ran into the same problem in other hotels throughout the country.
