Our room had maintenance issued that could easily been addressed prior to our arrival. Toilet made a terrible sound each time it was flushed, toilet seat was loose and the mirror in the bathroom was coming loose from the wall. Also limited space to hang towels for reuse.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was super convenient to the train, bus station and downtown. The restaurant was good and the decor was clean and modern. The only thing that would be better is if the pool was open later. Unfortunately, since it closed early in the evening, we never got to use it to unwind at night. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

The main thing I liked about this hotel was its proximity to Eyre square, numerous pubs, and attractions. The only complaint was the water pressure in the shower was weak

We were very happy with our stay at the Galmont. The front desk personnel are wonderful—smart, helpful, and friendly. Our room was great—spacious & modern. The WiFi was strong. There were plenty of plugs for charging devices. There was an in room safe. The only thing our room lacked was drawers (Our friends’ room did have drawers.) The breakfast was excellent. The hotel is well located, near downtown without being on a loud street. We would definitely recommend the Galmont and would stay there on any future visits.
