This property was so fantastic for my extended family. There was plenty of room for everyone to break way for quiet time, and the family spaces were big and comfortable enough to gather together. We spent each evening playing board and card games on the back patio or dining table. So many laughs shared with a beautiful view and house.

Perfect home base for outdoor recreation in any weather!

We have 4 kids and planned to do a lot of hiking, so this house was perfectly suited to fit our needs! The sleeping arrangement was just like home which made things easy, but I especially appreciate that the kitchen in this house is not in the middle!! It was so easy to meal prep and pack lunches without being interrupted by excited kids. Laundry was also super convenient and made it easy to have everyone throw their muddy clothes in for me to handle later. Jack and Jill bathroom was especially nice for my tween daughters As they shared that bathroom for the trip. Overall, we had a great time and are looking forward to coming back in the warmer months. We loved the proximity to Moran state park, as it took us 3 tries to make it to the top of Mount constitution with all 4 kids!! Hot tip, if roads are closed call the park office and leave a voicemail- they will call you back and likely will open the gates for you unless it’s dangerous.

Such beauty!

Honestly, the views are unparalleled--no matter what room you are in, you are looking at beauty. The kitchen is sooooo well-appointed. They had every pan and implement I could possible need as well as several pantry staples on hand for cooking. As can be expected, the sofa bed is not comfortable, but the regular beds were super nice. The only downside was the low number of bathrooms--2 showers and 3 toilets among 9 people is a tight squeeze!

Family vacation

A beautiful, well equipped home convenient to Moran State Park. We love the access to the trails and lakes of yhe park. Close enough for food. Great sunsets and water view.

Orcas gem

Our family of 6 adults, 2 teens and one child had a wonderful stay! We cooked most meals in the well stocked kitchen and loved that there was ample outdoor eating space. The house is beautifully furnished and very clean, with gorgeous views and multiple decks. We loved being so close to Moran State Park which offered many activities for the kids. Our only (small) regret was that we had 3 couples, and we had to draw straws to see who got the king sized beds. We really wished the double was a queen, but it was a minor issue and we worked it out! Overall, a fantastic house in a beautiful setting!

Great vacation home!!

This house was beautiful and in a great setting. It had comfortable furniture and beds and lovely views. It was well equipped for our family of 5 adults and 2 teens, with everything we needed for cooking and serving meals. We all loved everything about it except that the TV in the family room did not work properly and even with emails to the manager and a return phonecall from the owner, the problem was not resolved in the week we were there. Thankfully, the DVD player worked. But otherwise, we all thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful vacation home, and would happily return.

Unbelievable view from back decks of the bay and forest. House was well appointed and comfortable. The upstairs bathrooms need to be updated and provide easier access to the showers. House location was perfect.

Beautiful home

Beautiful home with enough room for the family. We had a wonderful stay. The home was clean and as advertised. The beds were comfortable and the view was magnificent. The WiFi worked well for those in the family who needed to check in at work. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, and utensils needed and the grocery store was just down the road. Location to town was perfect as well. Will definitely stay again.

Wonderful experience

The setting was lovely, off a dirt road settled in the woods with a view of the water through the trees. The neighborhood is quite and the other homes are not too close. The house is open with plenty of light. We enjoyed the outdoor decks for dinning and down time. Bedrooms are good size, comfortable and lots of storage. Kitchen is well equipped, easy for several people to work. Location is perfect. Close to the lake, hiking trails and the State Park. My only negative would be the white furniture which we covered with towels and the check-in and out times. 4pm was a little late in the day and 10am departure is a very rushed morning. Overall I would definitely book again
