7 Girlfriends

Seven girlfriends stayed for 3 nights. The home Was Comfortable, cozy, and well equipped. The fire pit is an added bonus however, the weather didn’t cooperate and we were unable to enjoy the outdoor experience. We were happy with our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to rebook.

Perfect Stay in Canada!

We had a wonderful stay at The Ranche! The communication before and during our stay was great, the check-in process extremely easy, and our overall stay perfect. The house was a great set-up for our two families and the kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need. We enjoyed our time at the Calgary Stampede, visited four of the national parks, and took in the local sites of Bar U Ranch and Saskatoon Farms. We will gladly stay here again if we make a trip back to the Calgary area!

Clean and Tidy

There was a couple of issues but overall a beautiful home! No firewood was available so we had to go buy some and there was no first aid kit on site which was an issue that we had but had one in my vehicle. Lastly watch out for pokey plants in the yard, dog got one in her paw and was not happy. The home was clean and tidy and had all the supplies we needed to make our meals. Would definetly stay here again! Loved the hammoch personally!

Family Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Ranche with 2 of our 3 adult children, spouses & grandkids. There were 5 adults & 6 children ranging in age from 2 - 12 yrs old. The house provided good sleeping arrangements for everyone & the yard had ample space for the kids to run around or jump on the trampoline. Short drive for us to take day trips to the Calgary Zoo, Granary Road & Okotoks rec centre. The upstairs bedrooms were a quite warm for sleeping the first night (+30°C that night) but with the ceiling fans going & the wind blowing the rooms finally cooled down to a comfortable level. We had a great time here & would definately stay again.

Perfect Spot for our Family Birthday Celebration!

Everyone commented on the peaceful nature of our stay - even the teens! Lots of room for indoor and outdoor play and the Kitchen is amazing! Lots of hands helping to make wonderful meals in the well equipped areas. We would all definitely recommend this home! Carol

Best place to stay south of Calgary

Phenomenal place, location, and owner. The house is very spacious and nicely designed in a welcoming, relaxing way. Beds were very comfortable, and kitchen had everything we could've wanted. It was the perfect location for us to explore the town of High River, The Bar U Ranch, Waterton Lakes National Park, Banff National Park, and Calgary. I recommend taking the owner's advice and visiting Saskatoon Farm, which had the best Saskatoon pie in the area. And the owner was great at communicating with us and answering any questions we had. An overall superb place.

Fantastic

The whole experience from booking to checking out was excellent. The location, the floor plan, amenities, yard were exactly what we needed as family with younger children. The main living area was perfect with high ceilings, large kitchen and eating area. The kitchen has pretty much everything you need to prepare food. The wrap around porch is huge along with the deck. We appreciate the hosts' hospitality and they were quick to respond. We will be repeat customers!

Wonderful Family Gathering

A wonderful family home for our family reunion! The kitchen was large and well equipped - perfect for preparing meals together. The kitchen table was huge and made an excellent spot for family card games. We really enjoyed our walks along the country roads and our visit to the Saskatoon Berry Farm. Communication with the hosts was excellent. What a great family gathering!

Great family home! (note allergy alert).

We wanted a quick weekend getaway for 3 generations of immediate family, and this was perfect, from the big dining table to the huge deck; we especially enjoyed the massive couch in the basement media room where a lively Netflicks trivia game was enjoyed by all, as well as the outing to the Saskatoon Farm which is only minutes away. THis is obviously a well loved family home only a short drive from Calgary, and we appreciated the excellent hospitality of our hosts. ALLERGY ALLERT - there is at least one dog who lives or spends a lot of time in the home.

Great location

House is a great size, and a huge kitchen for cooking while you're here. It is close enough to Okotoks and Calgary that you can plan activities there while also being in a more rural setting. The only downside is the beds are on the harder side, which can get uncomfortable of you're staying for a longer time.

Best of the best !

Home away from home. A very pleasant, welcoming house. With multiple needs within our group, the layout was perfect. We enjoyed family meals at the dining table. Quiet time was easy to find in different areas and the deck outside was beautiful. A loved and happy home! Good communications with the owners was the icing on the cake ! Foothills property.

This was a great rental. The home was large, spacious, comfortable and just very lovely overall. The kids loved the trampoline and we even tried out the badminton. The owners were very great to communicate with. It is close to both Okotoks and Calgary so lots of dining options and family activities near by. We would definitely rent this place again.
